After reading reviews, I chose to go with these guys. I'm so glad I did!! They do great work, and were more than fair with their pricing. I just referred my brother and he's totally happy with them too. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality.

I had my basement developed by Basement Builders. When I met with the founder Mathew, he told me he wanted 10/10 from all customers. He and Ben sure delivered. I am very happy about the developed basement, and I appreciate Mathew and Ben's help during the basement development. For all emails I sent, Mathew replied within 5 - 10 minutes. Small issues I found were addressed quickly. All questions I had were explained with detail and patience.
Besides excellent customer services, Basement Builders also has great trades with quality products. I'm very happy about the flooring, tile, lighting and bathroom cabinet/quartz I chose for my basement. I'm also amazed by the pocket door they installed. It feels so much nicer and smoother than the rest of the pocket doors in my house.
I recommend Basement Builders to everyone. They put pride into their work, and really provide the "red carpet" service to their customers. Thanks Mathew and Ben! Hope to work with you guys in future projects.

Basement Builders are such an incredible team. The Job was well done and completed on time. Mathew responded to all my questions and addressed all concerns in a timely manner. I recalled a time when Mathew answered my phone call while in a meeting, what a swell guy! Our Basement turned out beautifully. No complaint whatsoever! I highly recommend them! Mathew and Ben are amazing guys!

We engaged with The Basement Builders to develop our unfinished basement and they did a fantastic job! Matt and Ben were very professional and easy to work with. They took our inputs and handled everything from planning to permitting. They were quick to respond to any feedback and went above and beyond to meet all of our demands. Ben and Matt came to our house to discuss the basement development in December. They started work Jan 7th and finished Feb 23rd. Excellent to deal with, trades were very professional and we got exactly what we wanted, nothing less. These guys love what they do, and you'll love it to.

Matt and Ben were referred to me by a friend. Once my buddy told me the price $26,900 with a bathroom I was very interested.
The guys made an appointment right away we sat down at the kitchen table and got right into it. I told them what we were looking for, we went down into the basement to go over everything.
The guys were really easy to talk to they really do know what they're doing.
The project started very quickly after our initial meeting.
They were very forthcoming on what to expect and when to expect certain things, this was very helpful to us as we had a 6 month old at the time.
The whole development was completed on time and on budget, Very happy with the end result, so happy in fact this is the first review I think I’ve ever written

The experience was exceptional! Our home was protected well during the work, the trades were all friendly and professional. Each process was completed on time and the work was complete flawlessly. Our newly finished basement is exactly what we'd hoped for and while we know how difficult it is to choose contractors we would highly recommend Ben and Mat.

Loved our experience with Ben, Matt, and the entire team at basement builders. Loved talking to all the trades as they were very open and easy to get along with. They completed not only on time and budget, but the experience was very pleasant. The job site and any entrances used by the trades was cleaned daily. We were kept up to date and in the loop with everything going on. Whenever we had a question Ben would answer the phone and be able to give us an answer right away or shortly after. Would recommend these guys to anyone!!!

I was on the hunt for a contractor to finish my walkout basement. I interviewed several people/companies and finally decided to go with the Basement Builders. The reason behind my decision was their prompt replies and professional approach to the project along with a very reasonable price. Their quotation was submitted quickly and on time, and it provided a complete description of the scope of work with time frame. From day 1 I noticed how organized their team and project manager were. Work started a couple of days after accepting the formal quotation and was completed on time as promised.
Ben, the project manager, would give me frequent updates on the status of each phase of the project. Their team was polite and courteous. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and experienced contractor.

Basement Builders is fantastic. I considered other companies but after reading reviews online, it seems like they're innovators in their field. And I like their system setup so that's why I went with them. Matthew and Ben made my reno an easy experienced. Their trades are very accommodating and go far end beyond. They did the work in a timely manner and within the timelines stipulated, which was happy and surprising at the same time. Everything has been fantastic. Thank you Matt and Ben.

Basement Builders is the way to go! You would not find a better team to finish your basement. I contracted them 2 years ago to finish my walkout basement which they did and it was awesome. They are organized, punctual, and most importantly honest. Their work ethics and quality are amazing. Anyone who saw my basement was impressed with the quality of work. On top of all that, they stand by their work and warranty. I have contacted them few times regarding minor issues and they always responded. Their response time is impeccable. They sent people over to check and fix things if needed. I have already recommend Basement Builders to one of my friends and I honestly believe they are one if not the best at what they do. Hands down a blessing to have found Mat, Ben and Chris at Basement Builders! Professional as well as fun to work with - they made every step painless and enjoyable. They are always willing to listen and customize whatever we were looking to accomplish. From a price point, these guys are very competitive and explain each step of the way. We did our homework and had three companies submit pricing after doing a detailed walk thru and Basement Builders was right in line and also sat down and explained what we were getting for the price point.
On top of everything they made it fun, their crews were incredibly friendly and respectful to our home and family.
Do yourself a favour and when looking for any basement development or reno- forgot about the other guys and get in touch with Mat, Ben and Chris!

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Basement Builders. Matt and Ben are very professional and understanding of what I wanted in regards to my basement development. After our fist meeting I could clearly tell these guys were experienced with this business and knew what they were talking about. I was very pleased with the efficiency of the job and the cleanliness of there trades. I went from having a completely undeveloped area of my home transformed into a beautiful fully finished basement in under 7 weeks.Great job! We had Basement Builders come into our home to complete a silver package. We got exactly what was listed and the price was what was listed also! Mathew and Ben were extremely professional and courteous of our space. All the people on the team make sure that the space is clean at all times. We had a time line given of 6-8 weeks for completion and it was completed in 7. We took advantage of the financing option that was offered to us so that we could get everything we wanted in our new space. The quality of the workmanship surpassed our expectations.
