We are delighted with our purchase of a 12 by 10 Pergola System and after the first month of use can say that it has performed flawlessly. We attached ours at 8.5 feet high to the exterior wall and to the edge of the 10ft deck with Lag bolts. it took two of us 1.5 hours from start to finish. My only observation is the directions are for a free standing pergola and having some instructions for a wall mount system would have shortened our installation time. We highly recommend the Pergola system and look forward to may years of use.

Great product, easy to put together. Missing one of the clips for the shade - haven’t found a proper replacement yet (we’re just tying it which is working for now). Update - contacted their email and got a super quick reply with 2 spare clips!! Very impressive!! Worth the 5th star.

Très bon produit avec un look contemporain. Un peu plus difficile à installer avec des 6x6 de douze pieds pour faire une pergola double fixé au mur.

I decided to use TojaGrid units for the pergola to complete the new deck we were building. I used the 6x6 units with western red cedar posts and beams. The pergola was 12 x 16 built as two sections of 12 x 8 and was planned to only cover the new expansion of the deck. The post bases were supported on 2x8 dimensional PT lumber anchored to the joists. I used cedar because it was lighter and more pleasing colour when finished with TWP 1500 Stain. We decided to also use TojaGrid shade coverings and even though its more expensive than other shade coverings, the workmanship and ease of attaching was so much better than coverings using grommets. The decking is Deckorators Voyage line and railings are Fiberon

100% satisfied. I would say to purchase the 6x6 product as this appears to be more sturdy if used as a freestanding. I later researched and found similar products online but I noticed that the Tojagrid product was a bit more quality which I felt was worth it in the long run. VERY Minor CONS - The bolts that came with it were useless and stripped very easily; but mostly because I chose to use 6x6 douglas fir wood. The shade is pretty good quality but the straps are exposed to the sun. Our Arizona\USA heat\sun will definitely destroy these over time. I plan to cover these somehow. Again 100% satisfied and will purchase more for the backyard.
