Excellent solution if you’re looking for a clean, contemporary aesthetic. My project was built with 6”X6” pressure treated. Given that I was glad I had recruited five friends to make the erection process much easier.

The fastener heads tend to strip of the holes into the wood beams are not pre-drilled. Other than the extra prep work, this thing is awesome and super easy to put together!

I think it is a great system, I genuinely love mine. I dislike the minimal, amount of screws that came with my 12 x 24. You could barely get every post. Even, only using 2 screws per 2 sides as directed. Best advice is "do not use pressure treated lumber" as it does not fit! It recommends 3 men but 2 women put a 12x24 together.

I'm in love with my toja grid pergola, I was looking for something to blend into woods and this looks fabulous. Easy to assemble except trying to lift the peak onto the legs, we were lucky and have a friend with a bobcat and forks. Can't wait to do the landscape around it next year. Definitely going to get another one for our deck.

Really like the Tojo Grid product. I called and asked if they made it for true 6”x6” beams and they said yes, they cost the same as the parts for dressed 6x6. I ordered the kit and it was at my door in a few days. I read that some people find the finished product a bit wobbly, so I added a few extra holes opposite the ones that come with the product, shimmed the beams and used 2.5” Timerlock bolts. My final 12’x16’ trellis is rock solid. It looks like one box may have been dropped during shipping because one edge was rolled over a bit. Straightens it out with a hammer and hope to get touch up paint soon.

Purchased a 6x6 system for 2 10'x12' pergolas. Thing was massive once the top was assembled. Had to figure a way to raise it and put the legs in. But we got it. Ordered some 10' and 12' curtain rods. Figured they'd work for our pergola. We were wrong. Off by 1/2" each rod. Had to cut them down and rework them. Overall, pretty happy with it.

We think the Toja Grid system is awesome - very nice product - easy to use with the natural wood - looks great! The furniture, however, arrives in boxes that have no packing materials so it's easy to get damaged, which happened to us. They sent us replacements, which is great, but it CAN be avoided by simply making your boxing better. Literally, the pieces go in a cardboard box with nothing between the two - and that's why things get damaged! :)
