I love the finished product! However it was no where near a 45 min job to put together. It took much longer with 4 of us working on it. Definitely try each piece of wood and both ends before buying to see if it fits into the connectors. We tried most but not all and those we didn’t try were really hard to get in which added a lot of time and effort to fix. Also we did a 12 x 12 which is really heavy and difficulty to lift to put the final 2 legs in. But once put all together, we love it in our space.

well made materials, easy easy easy installation. provides the right amount of shade requires added parts to be secure during stand alone application. Angle braces would be a great addition, as well as better fasteners which are complete garbage and had to be replaced.

Love our Toja Grid products. They are well made and were super easy to construct. So far so good. Only one concern, the screws that come with the kits are complete garbage and strip out extremely easily if you don't use a bit that fits the phillips head pattern EXACTLY right. If there is any slippage with your bit they will strip out. would have given a 5 star if it came with higher quality screws.

Shipped in a timely fashion. Great product. Our only complaint is one corner bracket was ever so slightly bowed in, which made fitting one 4 x 4 a little more work. Extra screws would have been nice. And thanks for the shirt!

I just put up my pergola this week. Overall footprint was 12’ by 20’. Toja hardware was good quality and nice finish. 3 of us put the structure up with the use of 2 site fabricated jacks to assist 2 people holding the top section up while a third inserted legs.

So the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I built a huge Purgala and it was really hard to lift the top to put the lags in. I had to get a lift to help. It was 6x6 poles and beams. 18ft x 12ft. They need to make the corner brackets open up and clamp back down so you don't have to build the top first then lift it all at the same time. Other then that it's awesome stuff.

The base, corner brackets and other units are excellent. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the quality of the screws was quite poor. They did not bite well, and if a screw did not drive in completely right away, the heads of the screws stripped out very easily while trying to re-drive them.

Very good quality. I do wish the bases had a spacer to keep the wood off the ground. Other than that, they are great. Make sure you get "dressed" lumber. If not, know you'll be putting in some extra work to make rough cut lumber fit.
