Matkowsky law firm helped me with a difficult Permanent Residence application. My PR application was submitted by Sam in May 2021. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their immigration. He was helpful and kind throughout the two years and seven mos long process (IRCCC took so long to approve my PR application) He provided a great service During the process of applying for PR, I found Sam to be very professional, proactive, attentive and trustworthy. I can't successfully get my PR without Matkowsky team! I would not hesitate to seek his services again to apply my Husband’s PR ( I already discussed it with John when we can start my spouse’s PR application) and I would recommend anyone who is endeavouring in their immigration journey to entrust John Matkowsky and his law firm to take on their case. The website has all the information about their services and fees for each application process. They also refunded me the balance of professional fees I overpaid two years ago. They work very professionally. You will get response back from them within few minutes except weekends or public holidays. My sister's TRV application was refused 4 times without any valid reasons. Every time it was rejected it broke my heart as it meant more life moments that you spend without having your family around to witness it and share your happiness. I paid $250 for a 30-minute consultation, but John took well over 1 hour to dissect every aspect of my case with IRCC. He spoke to me and my wife on the phone like he was talking to his friends or siblings. He was professional and patient and answered every reasonable and unreasonable question we asked him.
One thing I find fascinating about John is that he wasn't focused on making money from us like many lawyers will do irrespective of the outcome of a case. After carefully looking at the possible arguments to present to IRCC, he simply recommended against pursuing a case cos of a high chance of losing it due to calculated evidence against me. Not that he couldn't present a strong argument, but the chance of me losing $6,500 was high, and he just didn't want that for me.
He is such a great guy and gentleman who has an impressive understanding of Canadian Immigration laws. Highly highly recommended ✌️

Well, I have one thing to say, if you are here just to get some reassurance of Matkowsky’s diligence in Immigration matters. I can say you are in good hands. I started with Matkosky’s service in February 2020 with the help of a Judicial Review, my Study Permit was approved after 2 denials thanks to Gina You.
I retained their services for my spouse's open work permit which was approved mid 2022 thanks to Katherine Filewych.
I applied for my PGWP, and I was given 1 year instead of 3, after several emails to the IRCC, the officer was adamant and refused to issue my 3-year PGWP.
Thanks to John and Amanat who swung into action immediately, I was able to apply for a JR in the nick of time. I had just 14 days to start a JR, so time was of the essence.
No surprises I finally got approved … Long story short with Matkosky, you are certain you are in good hands.

I wanted to share my experience on working with Matkowsky’s team. I contacted the firm to help me out for my parents supervise applications after 4 rejections based on weird reasons. Katherine (the phenomenal team member) filed the Judicial Review and appealed the refusal at first. When the application was thrown into limbo again, she advised to file for Writ of Mandamus, and I finally received the passport request for both my mother and father.
