The experience was tremendously positive with Matkowsky. I worked with them on family TRV visa. Starting from intake to the final application submission, their team (shout out to Jasleen and Amanat) and contacts are extremely professional and communicative. A few days ago, my dream of coming to Canada was fulfilled when I received approval of my Permanent Residency, including for my spouse and daughter. This would have been impossible without the professional involvement of Amanat Sandhu, and Matkowsky Law organization. This was a complex self-employed application which lasted a few years, until Matkowsky became involved with a Judicial Review submission and subsequent redetermination application process. Despite the complex history of my application and the large number of files and information provided to Amanat, she was able to grasp the key issues and prepare a strong case to explain why this application should be approved. Amanat’s documentation to IRCC was very clear and supported by relevant convincing legal facts. All information provided was substantiated, convincing and fully demonstrated why my application fully met the criteria of the program and should be approved. Throughout the process, Amanat also made several good recommendations to improve my application.
Prior to selecting Matkowsky, we examined several options from a few law firms. We selected Matkowsky based on website available information, client reviews, and an initial consultation. I certainly was not disappointed. I was pleased with the quality of professional support provided, and more importantly with the end result from their work. In addition, Matkowsky in their website clearly identifies fees for services. There were no surprises with the fees. Matkowsky law firm helped me with a difficult Permanent Residence application. My PR application was submitted by Sam in May 2021. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their immigration. He was helpful and kind throughout the two years and seven mos long process (IRCCC took so long to approve my PR application) He provided a great service During the process of applying for PR, I found Sam to be very professional, proactive, attentive and trustworthy. I can't successfully get my PR without Matkowsky team! I would not hesitate to seek his services again to apply my Husband’s PR ( I already discussed it with John when we can start my spouse’s PR application) and I would recommend anyone who is endeavouring in their immigration journey to entrust John Matkowsky and his law firm to take on their case. The website has all the information about their services and fees for each application process. They also refunded me the balance of professional fees I overpaid two years ago. They work very professionally. You will get response back from them within few minutes except weekends or public holidays. When I got my PR, I received a call from Sam to congratulate me even though he was on a parental leave :))

I paid $250 for a 30-minute consultation, but John took well over 1 hour to dissect every aspect of my case with IRCC. He spoke to me and my wife on the phone like he was talking to his friends or siblings. He was professional and patient and answered every reasonable and unreasonable question we asked him.
One thing I find fascinating about John is that he wasn't focused on making money from us like many lawyers will do irrespective of the outcome of a case. After carefully looking at the possible arguments to present to IRCC, he simply recommended against pursuing a case cos of a high chance of losing it due to calculated evidence against me. Not that he couldn't present a strong argument, but the chance of me losing $6,500 was high, and he just didn't want that for me.
He is such a great guy and gentleman who has an impressive understanding of Canadian Immigration laws. Highly highly recommended ✌️
