We had a great time working with the Matkowsky team, especially Maria Alexiou, our lawyer. While the office was closed for the holidays, she still worked on our case and reviewed documents. She worked quite hard to make sure our case gets filed on time. Whenever we emailed or called Matkowsky team they were very approachable to get answers to many of the questions we had before to submitting my wife's study and work visa applications. Overall, I definitely recommend working with this highly skilled team to anyone wanting positive results.

We have retained the services of Matkowsky Law when my mother in law was denied the extension of her supervisa and we needed to apply for a restauration of status in order for her to extend her stay in Canada. We have searched several firms, some of them closer to home, Edmonton. After the discussion I had with John Matkowsky I decided to go with them. John was very professional and told me the good's and the bad's of the case. the prediction of what the chances of success would be... definitely a professional and honest approach, and the confidence I got about retaining their services was very much a result of the discussion I had with John. The case was passed on to Ms Amanat, who dealt with our case the entire time. Absolutely precise in her work, Amanat took care of everything related to the case. Interacted with us timely and handled the support documentation and the interaction with IRCC very expeditiously and efficiently. I would highly recommend Matkowsky's immigration law to everyone. It is the best law firm for any kind of immigration case and I would like to take Sonia, Nuvya, Paul and Katherine, they are wonderful people who took my immigration case without knowing me as a person. Even the office staff was great. We mostly communicated through phone calls and emails but it was a very thorough and well put together common-low sponsorship application. Today I’m a permanent resident in Canada. Thank you all once again!

Matkowsky Law Firm helped my father with his Work Permit application. He was asked, by the ambassy, to provide the results of an official language test in order to be considered for a WP. I personally dealt with Gina and her team. In a very short period of time, they were able to put together a strong response for the ambassy, which granted my dad his WP after a couple of days without any official language test.

My sister desperately waited to complete her high school so that she can apply for a postsecondary program in Canada. And when the time came, her study permit application was rejected by IRCC on baseless reasons.
We approached Matkowsky's with great skeptisim after hearing horror stories about immigration lawyers in general and their high fees. But they were simply amazing. The amount of hardwork the whole team put for our reapplication was simply outstanding. Nima Chooback (one of the senior consultants) was handling our case. He was extremely efficient and patient at the same time. He was super fast on responding to our emails and made multiple adjustments in the final application based on our requests.
Yes, my sister's study permit was approved just within 20 days of reapplying. I would strongly recommend anyone dealing with IRCC to approach Matkowsky's. Please note that they are not consultants, but actual lawyers. They really know what they are doing.

A wonderful experience to work with Sam and Sonia on my work permit application together! I got a refusal on my initial application due to lack of documents; I was put on a weird situation as my status "expired" earlier than it should due to an error.
Sam was very helpful, friendly and informative as he guided me through the re-application process. I was reassured with his quick response and detailed information whenever I have questions regarding the process and my status.
