Our journey with this firm started back to September 2020 when I received a PFL for my ongoing spousal sponsorship application. My husband and I were quite upset as we were waiting for the decision for 2 years at that point, and the PFL was a quite shocking news for us. After some research, we found Matkowsky Immigration Law firm and scheduled a phone appointment with Sonia. Sonia is an extremely professional and well informed immigration lawyer. What I liked the most is her trust and confidence in our case to compare to other immigration lawyers (we consulted another lawyer, and he said there were no chances to get approval after PFL). Fatima worked on our PFL response and did a great job hitting all the necessary points. Even though up until now there is no a final decision yet on this spousal sponsorship application, I am sure the PFL response prepared by Matkowsky made it difficult to simply decline our application.
Since it has been taking too long to process our spousal sponsorship application, and I was well qualified under Express Entry application, I decided to go through that stream and, certainly, use Matkowsky's expertise, knowledge and help. Once again, Sonia was confident in my file. Kriti Gupta took care of my EE application. Kriti has been always informative and supportive. From the first email and up until the last one, Kriti has been always very fast in responses and follow-ups; she always shared her opinion and thoughts on all related concerns and topics. Regardless of the time we sent emails Kriti always found time to respond the same day, sometimes very late at night. Kriti did a great job putting together all the documents and making the necessary comments on my file for the submission. Thanks to Kriti's and other members of this firm, my EE application was approved less than 2 months after submission, and now, after such a long time of waiting, I am finally a permanent resident of Canada.

So after my mother visa refusal I reached out to Matkowasky. John helped me and answered all my questions in detail free of charge ! He is great ! Than I had some more questions and he asked me to book some time with Sonia Matkowasky and I did it 2 days ago. I had 30min call with her. I can say she was really knowledgeable. She knew what she was talking about. Quick to reply back and share her thoughts on the matter. Gave a clear pathway to what options are on the table .
I was looking forward to have Sonia represent my case for Judicial Review but she told me in her email that another lawyer will look into my case who looks into litigation case at her firm. I am aware that Sonia is an expert at JD and litigations. I would have felt more confident if she was my lawyer as I had complete faith and trust in her expertise and experience she has from GandS and at Matkowasky. Therefore looking into the sensitivity of my case I ended up going to another celebrity and CS (specialist) lawyer because he told me that he would be my main lawyer and because it was to go to federal court I wanted some one who was really hands on and top of it. If it was an application for visa or pr or any other thing I would have gone with them no matter who was representing my case.

I am currently in process of getting married with my fiancé in US, and Natalie Sahibi has been a great help to both of us. She also helped me with solving the constant issue I had with entreating US (I got pulled in to the secondary check every time I visited my fiancé) through DHS traveler redress inquiry program. I was initially distraught that I was denied my initial study visa

When I read the notes, it seemed like I had no further chance of approval. However, after some google searches and reading through a few reviews on google, I have decided that Matkowsky might be an excellent fit for me. They do cost more than other lawyers, but it is the best value immigration law firm. In addition, Amanat was very clear about what documents were needed to apply and the best ways to address the officer's concerns about my case through the process.
On top of that, I also received answers to many questions about future potential visa-related issues and even situational questions regarding visa extension for my studies. For example, I intend to transfer to a university after my first year of college in Canada. I was advised to pick a two-year program for college, so my visa doesn't expire after one year when I am transferring.
Also, Amanat always gave me prompt and to-the-point responses. I appreciate that the team would provide me with realistic expectations. I never once felt like any of the projected outcomes for potential study scenarios they provided me with were exaggerated.
Overall, by going with Matkowsky Immigration Law firm, you will feel a sense of transparency and will get to present your case in the best possible way. Because they are very knowledgable about many immigration laws and expectations, as well as nuances that IRCC doesn't provide any information about.
Therefore, I believe that they are worth the extra money, especially for those planning to immigrate to Canada or the US in the future, since the ability to apply for PGWP and PR will depend on proper planning and application for initial visas.
