Matkowsky Immigration Law firm is a very professional law firm with reasonable fee. I have been rejected two for my study permit application.
I felt very frustrated and hopeless that for mature student it was hard to study in Canada. I wish I would come to study Canada again.
But Sonia and Fatima helped me step by step.
Although it took bit longer to finish the submission letter, finally it took only 3 weeks to get my study permit. They are very helpful and professional. I highly recommend

If you are looking for THE BEST Immigration lawyer, John Matkowsky and his team of associates are where to look! John is very informative , always gets back to you quickly for any questions or concerns you may have. We hired a different lawyer ( I won’t release his name) but he did zero for us but take our money. When John says he will get things done? It’s done! Best decision I ever made especially during this pandemic was having this firm in my corner during this journey of finally becoming a permanent resident! It's important to ensure that certain important things are done right the first time, and going through the process of immigration is one of them. They definitely took the time to review my particular scenario and assured me that they would help to present the best possible permanent residence application from day one, which was exactly what I was looking for because I wanted to make sure that everything was correct for my own peace of mind. There was constant communication the entire way, from the beginning of the process of putting the profile together all the way to the approval, and if I had any questions or was concerned about anything or even if it was just to do a random monthly check-in to find out if everything's okay, I could always call or email. Sonia and Gina were absolute angels from start to finish and I really don't know what I would've done without them. Best investment one can make and I'd highly recommend them!

My daughter's study permit was declined in September 2020.. I googled list of reputable immigration lawyers on the Internet and I came across Matkowsky...Somehow I felt I should try them,after going through their reviews...I contacted them first week of October 2020,and Fatima was awesome....guided us through a fresh application....always addressing our concerns.....She drafted a strong submission letter which i found very impressive.....To cut the long story short, my daughter was asked to go for medicals and few days ago, we received the "Passport request" letter....She has been issued her study permit!!!...I think Matkowsky is just a great immigration firm for Canadian visa issues...I won't even think twice to approach them for my second child's study visa who'll soon be ready for his university education!!

They gave alot of information whenever we had questions always got back to us and sent out papers so that i could travel back and forth without problems at the border. I had a criminal inadmissiblity that they could have turned me away for if i had done it on my own but they pleaded my case so that i had no problems with that. Due to covid 19 things were shut down which made my proccess a whole year longer then it would have been but they still got back to me threwout it all helping me get anything done that i could. They go over everything and proof everything you send in to them before forwarding it to make sure you havent left anything out. The only thing i recomend that you know is you pay full price before they start your paperwork if you have the option to save up and pay it all at once is always nice but they do allow you to pay in instollments at what you can till they have it all. They did a great job and i would recomend them to anyone doing the process to get a residency in Canada.

Had a very good experience so far. My family found themselves in a difficult situation with a 9 year old immigration case that was approved in principle but has the potential of falling apart due to some complicating factors. Very stressful situation, as many of you would appreciate. Called the Matkowsky number and recieved a call back same evening from an individual by the name of John. It this is how they approach cases, I am not suprised about the 5 stars from everyone. We were not even clients, and were given so much attention and time, deliberating different angles and approaches that would work best. We dealt with different immigration firms and many lawyers, but this is truly like comparing apples to organges (assuming oranges are an superior fruit). We are not clients yet, still deliberating with the family, but they make making a decion very easy.

I can't thank Matkowsky law firm enough for helping us get an approval, at the first time, as a family during the uncertain pandemic period. We applied for a study permit along with an open work permit for my husband and TRV for my 2 year old son. After facing a lot of discouragement and warning from the Indian consultants about applying together and having an education gap of 8 years with little work experience, we decided to retain Matkowsky law firm who instantly agreed to help us with our applications. We had a few big concerns with our profiles including having an active Express Entry PR profile at the time of application. Oshani, Sonia and John presented our applications in the best possible way ensuring that all the issues were properly explained and justified in their submission letter. Specifically, as my husband had an active Express Entry PR profile, the firm used case law regarding dual intent to overcome this issue of permanent intention to IRCC. I would like to sincerely thank John Matkowski and his team. They did a tremendous job. I had a difficult case, since I am an adult student (30 ) and had a visa rejections in the past. They did all the heavy lifting and hard work to fight for me. They filed a Judicial Review and reached early settlement for the Study Permit approval after multiple refusals.

Matkowsky Immigration Law is THE BEST immigration law firm that I have ever seen! My wife applied for a spousal open work permit visa through them and, it was approved! Previously, we tried ourselves but got rejected twice. Then I consulted with them and, they helped us build a strong case by addressing each of the issues that IRCC raised in previous applications. Our case was taken care of by Sonia and her team particularly, by Fatima Ahmed. From the very beginning, she cooperated with us to get all the information/documents, paid attention to the nuances, answered all of our questions, and finally wrote a strong supporting letter.
