My husband and I have 4 pieces in total (his wedding band, my wedding band, my engagement ring and a pave band) from Fair Trade Jewellery Co., and after a recent experience there I am very happy we made the choice to buy from this company. After 7 years of having my engagement ring, I came into the store because the design of the ring was trapping moisture and causing discomfort. The staff could not have been more accommodating - they determined that the ring was constructed with an older design that wasn't inline with their current practices, which accounted for the problem. They offered to remake the ring free of charge and resolve the issue. Now my ring is even more perfect! FTJCo truly stands behind the quality of their products and cares about their customers' experience and happiness.

I chose ftjco because of their use of recycled gold and ethically sourced diamonds. What I found was a wonderful team to work with. The collaboration with one of their designers was fun and creative, using photos, drawings, and video, and she designed exactly what I wanted. One order arrived in the US from Canada in 25 hours. When Customs delayed a second order their team immediately intervened over the weekend which I so very much appreciated. I very highly recommend ftjco!

Bought an engagement ring for my now fianceé at FTJC. Service was phenomenal. As someone who did not exactly know where to start, Camille was more than happy walk me through every step of the way. Even with a certain budget, she showed beautiful rings and numerous options for stones until I found one that I loved. Plus it is good to know that the rings are made with care and are ethically sourced. We will definitely go to them when we buy our wedding bands.

I recently bought diamond stud earrings and hoop earrings in palladium white gold from Fair Trade Jewellery Co. Both pairs of earrings exceeded my expectations. They are the earrings that I will wear daily because they go with everything and suit my lifestyle. The diamond earrings are the perfect size with lots of elegance. The hoops have an artisan look, different from what I would find in retail shops. Best of all, both pairs of earrings are free of nickel, and that is nearly impossible to find in the United States. These earrings are beautiful, and they make me feel beautiful, too.

I work in ethical supply chain management, so when I started my search for an ethically sourced engagement ring, I had a high bar. I quickly realized that most jewelers (even the small business owners) who claimed "conflict free" or "responsibly sourced" or "eco-friendly" gemstones and jewelry mostly had no real way of demonstrating how they meet those claims. Some jewelers say that the follow the Kimberly Process for avoiding conflict minerals and leave it at that. The Kimberly Process is well known to have a number of loopholes that make it so it is not a guarantee of ethical sourcing.
My search eventually led me to FTJCo, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they could back up their claim of fair trade and responsibly sourced with real information about the traceability of their stones and metals, and good knowledge of and high standards for the world of ethical sourcing. As a professional in the field myself, their awareness was refreshing and reassuring.
On top of that, they are wonderful to work with and make beautiful pieces! Couldn't be happier with the truly one of a kind ring I ended up with.

I had a awesome experience here when buying an engagement ring for my fiancee. The staff were so friendly, offered great advice and were able to accommodate a tight deadline to have a beautiful custom-designed ring (which my wife-to-be loved) ready for my planned proposal date. We didn't hesitate to go back there when it came time to buy our wedding rings and, again, the level of customer service was fantastic. After selecting our rings, the owner even gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the shop, showing us how they design and make the rings. I can't recommend Fair Trade Jewellery Co highly enough.
