Allan Murrell
I only live 12 miles (15 mins) from Youles in Manchester, so that's where I usually take my bike for any work, MOT or servicing. The guys at the Manchester branch weren't able to fit me in before 17th August so I decided to give Youles in Blackburn a call. And I'm glad I did.
I've always been satisfied (mostly) with the service I've had from the Manchester branch but my experience today with Youles in Blackburn seemed a bit better - a bit more polished and personal.
I'm never happy that fixing a front light is not as easy (or cheap) as simply replacing a faulty bulb, and £550 for a headlamp unit is an annoying cost - but it is what it is.
So, my bike went in at 18 hours notice to Youles Blackburn for a new headlamp unit and an MOT. When I arrived, I asked the After Sales Manager (Andy Dawson) if he could maybe squeeze it in for its annual service which was originally booked for 17th August at Manchester and he managed to do that too.
I enjoyed free hot and cold drinks while I was there and had a nosey at some of the bikes - like you do.
When the work was finished, I was shown to my bike in the workshop which had been washed and Dan (the guy that had worked on my bike) had even applied a bit of touch-up paint to an annoying paint chip on my headlamp cover.
Despite Youles in Blackburn being another 30 minutes on top of my usual drive time to Youles Manchester, I'd happily return there for any future work.
