Ian Cotterall
Bit of background
Been a motorcyclist for a good number of years, usually having a couple of bikes, including tourer, sports , retro, or, cruiser.
From a safety and secure point of view, I have always used dealers, amongst those, Youles of both Blackburn and Manchester.
My latest experience involved a trade in of a custom/ cruiser.
Having keenly viewed a pre-owned sports bike, I agreed a trade-in (my bike unseen), though I had no qualms over the transfer.
Having dealt with Youles with both new and used, Steve took my word on the soundness of my bike.
On the day of transfer, I had difficulty in selecting third gear, as did two of the mechanics.
Sharp in-take of breath, and the possibility of £ signs, bikes changed( money back on hold)
Three days later, my old back had been looked over , and sorted, and guess what, the words of 'no cost' were heard. Yes that was 'no cost'
Moral of the story, it is worth that little extra to build a good relationship with your dealer, as in this case with Youles.
I've had a number of bikes with Youles, Blackburn and Manchester, and in every case, satisfied.
