My cat was treated by the vets at Stone Lion very sucessfully! She's a happy kitty now thanks to the perseverance and affection showed by the vets and staff towards her. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a thorough and professional service. So happy to have lovely Daisy back in my arms! Thanks Team Stone Lion! :)

An excellent practice. I had a serious problem with one of my dogs on New Years day and they were able to treat and operate immediately. I look back across all of the care that they have provided and, even with hindsight, I see that they provided clear advice about our choices and professional execution.
Very pleasant to deal with as well.
I moved to this vet a while ago when my previous vet practice was bought by a bad chain.

Terrible , we had our bitchs keyhole speying cancelled at the last minute because they dont have time to do this type of operation. They can do one that suits them but not our dog.
Its unbelievable and shows a lack if care for animals. Avoid this practice its only about the owners private equity money. There is no proper care and they dont give a xxxx about the customer.

If you love your pets do not take it to stone lion. They are negligent and when they are at fault they try to not accept. The are responsible for harming more pets than helping them. They don't even deserve 1 star that is too generous.

Very professional. Both my cats get stressed when visiting the vet, however this is always very well and calmly handled. The visits are never rushed and I always get to ask all my questions.

We were very impressed at the professionalism of the staff and care our cat received at Stone Lion today. Tania & Annette from the reception team were great in guiding us in the process of switching and to retrieve our cats’ records from our previous surgery and secured us a double-slot booking for the initial consultation with Julie Johnson today. Julie was very thorough in her consultation and was receptive to our concern that ours cats had been eating the Applaws recalled food linked in the recent spike in cases of pancytopenia amongst cats. She was patient, answered our questions and gave us practical advice on what we should be doing. She also prescribed a course of treatment for our cat who had been off her food for a few days and running a slightly high temperature. This is the best vet consultation we have had in eight years!

For any pet lover, please be advised that Stone Lion is a Veterinary Hospital and not like your local vet. Its good to have your local vet separate to the hospital as otherwise you run in danger of always seeing a different doctor if your pet needs special attention during illness. Stone lion are very helpful and professional and caring but as its a hospital you might end up like us with 6 different doctors or more for the same issue. so good to have your local vet separate. I hope this information is helpful.
