Happy Campers was an exceptional experience. From the time we picked up the camper to return, the staff were so accommodating and friendly. When we ran into a last minute emergency, a staff member even offered to personally drive us to the Reykjavík to resolve it. Can’t recommend them enough!

Great campervan experience! We would totally use them again! The heater kept us super warm at night (even in October) and we were able to enjoy seeing all Iceland has to offer!

I love Happy Campers. We have rented from them 4 times now. Jon, the owner, is amazing. He has helped me out in a jam more than once. It's awesome to have the personal freedom to roam around the entire country as you wish. This is your hotel and transportation in one. Liliana was amazing at showing me how to use the tablet GPS and all of the features, and teaching my 13 year old son how to convert the van to sleep mode. I really love her! She is tops. Monk was also superb at check out and he drove us back to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. I will definitely keep renting from Happy Campers due to the personal touch and attention to detail they provide. They answer the phone when you have an emergency or general problem, and are prepared to help (or even rescue you if you do something stupid). Liliana and Monk, you guys rock!

What truly set our experience apart was the outstanding hospitality and friendly approach of our host, Ljiljana. From the pick up at the airport, she greeted us with a warm smile, creating an instant connection that made us feel like welcomed guests rather than mere customers. Ljiljana went above and beyond to ensure we were well-informed about the camper's features and provided us with valuable tips on navigating the local terrain.
In summary, our experience with Happy Campers and Ljiljana was an absolute delight. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and kind and their commitment to providing top-notch camping cars coupled with the genuine care and friendliness of the team made our journey unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Happy Campers to fellow adventurers, and we're already looking forward to our next excursion with them!

I'm sad that it's taken me so long to write this. From the second that we made a reservation the customer service has been amazing, there will always be bumps and bruises with any trip but whenever we came up to one Benjamin was there to walk me through my own blunders. Like any 5 star review I can praise with all of the fluff, but people want the dirt. The only problems that we had were just a few system issues like on landing we had no idea how to get the transfer to the company, so we texted them, but they didn't open till 8am and it was 7am. We were expecting a person to be standing with a sign with our name on it but after walking around for hours we finally made contact with them as we were just about to pay a cab to drive us over. We were with a lot of others trying to figure out the same problem. A bus showed up and took us all to the company. That should be an easy system fix. We were there in Oct. and got hit by an unseasonable winter storm that had us trapped in the north with summer tires. We contacted the company with their in-van tablet, and they sent out a guy to pull us out of the snow and took us to his shop to switch our tires to winter tires without charging us we were on our way, and we finished our vacation without any other problems. If piece of mind and great service mean something to you then this is the company for you, Happy Travels...

Happy Campers was absolutely incredible. The process was very easy. The staff was incredibly helpful and they answered several emails promptly- even with the time zone. The camper itself came with everything you could need-soap, dish towels, linens, an evening time heater, etc. They sent out various emails during our trip when the weather was bad, which was very helpful as well. Benjamin and another woman were awesome!! They were friendly and very informative. The one lady helped us on pick up and drop off. She was so genuine and funny. I cannot thank her for her help enough.

Amazing customer service. Happy campers website is extremely helpful with planning your trip - camping sites map, plenty of travel tips and destinations, partners with whom you get discounts. We absolutely LOVED Happy Campers! You can really tell that it's owned by travelers for travelers, they're so friendly and their bundles are just the best thing for your trip.
We got the biggest bundle and I'd say getting an insurance with 0 deductible is MUST when in Island if u don't want to spend all your days crying bc you will most likely get the car damaged in some way, unfortunately. We got the passenger seat almost blown away and thanks to that bundle we continued our trip worry-free, but ofc making sure we're doing the best we can to take care of the beautiful camper, that btw we got a brand new model even if we paid for an older one as they were out of them at that moment!
The bundle also included sleeping bags aside of the BIG THICK blankets they give you already with the rental, a guitar! (which made our nights so fun), gps, wifi, and basically all the extras that you could possibly ask for.
Again, we had an amazing experience with Happy Campers and whenever we go back to Iceland we are definitely going with them again, no doubt, no comparison. Couldn't have asked for more!

La mejor opción de alquiler de campers en Islandia!!! El trato con los clientes es excelente. La furgoneta viene totalmente equipada. En ningún momento tuvimos que sufrir por la batería, pudiendo poner la calefacción siempre que hacía falta. Totalmente recomendable!!

Very satisfied by the Happy 1 Ex campervan after almost 2 weeks of use. The car was in a good mechanical condition, with studded winter tires. It also has the basic kitchen utensils, and other useful tools, like a shovel and jumper cables. The bed was big enough for 2 slim fit people with a height of 1,8 cm and 1,65 cm stuffed in sleeping bags. During my 2 weeks trip I had the unfortunate event of a wind damage (broken front door) which the Premium Insurance fully covered. Would happily use their services again for a summer trip in the future.

Happy campers 2 was very cozy. Equipped with eveything we need during our trip. Easy to drive and park. Instructions were very clear and the staff i think name Lily ( lady who worked early morning on Sunday 19th November 2023) was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend taking campervan from them.

Esta compañia es muy Buena, Al reservar la camper Esta todo muy claro y facil, Los mejores precios son en hinvierno, wifi incluido, y nunca fallo igualmente la calefaccion siempre fue buena nunca tuve frio la mini cocina bien equipada y facil de usar. Me gusto mucho sin duda lo recomiendo .

We had an awesome experience with Happy Campers, rented a Happy 2 (3 Pax) from 1st to 8th Nov 2023. The collection process was very smooth, Monk on the front desk was extremely patient and thorough in taking us through the various functions of the campervan. He also took the time to explain the differences in driving in winter, something we were concerned about given that we had no experience with that. Kudos to him. During the trip any questions that we had were very quickly answered by various friendly staff via the tablet, which in itself was very easy to use and helpful in planning our routes. Benjamin from the customer service team was also very helpful in our email correspondence before and after the trip. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would definitely recommend anyone who's visiting Iceland to rent with Happy Campers.

Esperienza super! Abbiamo noleggiato un minivan EX da 2 persone, un po' datato ma che ha svolto perfettamente la sua funzione! A fine ottobre/inizio Novembre abbiamo percorso senza problemi anche le strade del nord un po' ghiacciate. Cosa molto importante e sicuramente un plus è il fatto che si possa cucinare anche all'interno del van, che non è per nulla scontato. Molto comodo anche il divano-letto che ti permette di muoverti nel van più facilmente. Il sistema di riscaldamento funzionava perfettamente e non abbiamo mai avuto freddo. Anche le coperte e i piumoni che ci hanno fornito erano caldi (e io sono freddolosa!), avevamo portato per sicurezza dei sacchi a pelo e non li abbiamo mai usati perchè non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno. Assolutamente consigliato

We hired a Happy 3 for 5 days with the Happier insurance bundle, and glad we did as we had a tyre puncture and a chip in our windscreen, so it was good we had cover and didn't have to worry or pay anything on return.
The staff were really nice and friendly when we picked up and returned the campervan. We got picked up and dropped off at the airport. We loved our campervan, it was very well equipped and the heating system worked a wonder, lasting all night, so we weren't cold at all. The bottom bed was very spacious too. Cooking space was also good, with two gas cookers and plenty worktop space. Plenty storage as well, with four shelves for food etc, and two big drawers to put our clothes. We kept our empty suitcases and boots in the boot, and there was additional storage under the seats that we didn't need to use (and were a family of 4). We loved the flexibility of traveling on a campervan and going at our own pace without worrying about getting to places for a certain time. I wouldn't hesitate to use Happy Campers again! Thank you for everything!
