I had a great experience with Happy Campers in Iceland.The mini van (Happy 1)was in excellent conditions and I got a good explanation of everything for my first camper trip. The two blankets kept me warm during cooler nights. Thanks to Bartosz and Solveig I felt well prepared for my trip. Hope to come back soon!

Excelente atención, muy expeditivos y resolutivos a la hora de ayudarte con todo lo del auto. Dan buenos consejos. Tuvimos la suerte que nos tocó una Camper nueva, equipada con todo, buena ropa de cama, excelente calefacción, todo increíble la verdad, muy bien cuidado todo!!.
Gracias a Bartozs por su ayuda, nos ofreció drop off al aeropuerto. Recomendable en todo sentido! Sin duda de volver a Islandia, o quien venga, recomiendo totalmente Happy Campers.

En verdad no pudo haber sido mejor la experiencia! Recorrimos dos semanas en la camper y estuvo genial, super cómoda y completa, sobre todo porque la cocina está dentro y la cama se hace un sofá de día! Los recomendaría sin lugar a dudas.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip, thanks in part to our Happy Camper! Eliška checked us in and was not only very helpful, but incredibly funny and a great person to help start off our journey. Our camper was the perfect size, drove really well across every road type we encountered, and kept us warm at night! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Iceland ☺️

Nous avons passé 15 jours exceptionnels à bord d'un 4x4 EX qui nous a permis d'explorer les plus jolis recoins de l'Islande ! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié son aménagement intérieur qui l'a rendu très fonctionnel, le matériel prêté ainsi que la carte interactive des campings de l'île ! Un grand merci à Eliška qui nous a accueilli, qui s'est montrée patiente lors de ses explications, et surtout très arrangeante !! Nous referons confiance les yeux fermés à Happycampers pour notre prochain séjour en Islande :)

We are very happy with our Happy Campers experience! Eliska was wonderful - she greeted us warmly upon pick-up and made the both check-in and return process quick and painless.
We chose the older Auto-Ex model which was pretty good for us as we are both small - but next time would get a roomier van.
Couple suggestions: put a sticker by the headlights switch reminding people to turn off their lights (we forgot and needed a jump!) // we recommend the inverter only be used on the secondary battery in the back as it also drained the main battery // it would be great to have some cords or rope strung along the sides in the back - perhaps with a net bag or two to put things like phones, eyeglasses / keys etc. - like those that are often in camping tents. It might also be helpful to have something behind the sink area to stop things from falling back there. A ledge or something stretched across the gap.
Otherwise - the van served us well! We might upgrade next time but we were happy with what we had - through rain and shine and rainbows!

My husband and I took the 4x4 camper from Happy Campers for a week trip around Iceland. Marina was the one that helped us when we were taking the van and she gave us so many amazing tips and recommendations that we changed our trip plans on the spot and had the most amazing week! She also explaned everything about the camper in great detail, so we didnt have any issues at all. The van itself is tight but extremely well organised and optimised and was the best way to explore the island!

This was our first time in a campervan, and we loved it! Our van had everything we needed, and we appreciated the fact that it didn't cost much to add a second driver or the few extras we wanted (like camping chairs and a coffee press). We felt that the staff of Happy Campers really cared about helping us have a good experience. When we first made the reservation, they sent a detailed e-guide book and links to other resources to help us prepare. And when we got there (still a little nervous about our first campervan trip), Eliska and Bartosz patiently and cheerfully explained everything to help us get off to a good start. We loved the freedom of exploring Iceland in a van. In fact, at the end of the trip, we wished that we could take the van home with us for more adventures!

We chose Happy Campers for our first trip to Iceland. The friendly communication beforehand and the option to choose from different bundles gave us a good feeling. Everything went smoothly and seamlessly on arrival. Marina guided us through check-in and check-out with great competence and courtesy. Arber picked us up safely and drove us back to the airport. All the other staff members were also on hand to offer advice and assistance during the camper pickup. When we had a minor problem with the car key, the friendly staff immediately assisted us over the phone.
Our Happy 2 was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The only improvement we could think of would be to make better use of the storage space on the upper side walls with compartments or hooks. Anyway, we can wholeheartedly recommend Happy Campers and will definitely choose them again on our next visit.

Great experience! We drove the Ring Road, 10 days. Hit Snaefelsness and Trolluskagi. We drove the little camper that could. Fierce winds on Snaefelsness, snow between Asbyrgi and Dettifoss, that van could go! Good living area for 4 adults in the Happy 3: cooked, slept, stayed dry. No problem. We had an issue with the refrigerator and they were VERY helpful while on the road. Best endorsement: we will use them again when we tour the Westfjords and the Westman Islands. Marina checked us in and was awesome! Really took care of us and is a primary reason we'll use Happy Campers again.

Great and unforgettable experience with happy Campers. We rented a Happy 1 EX van and it was perfect to explore the country for 10 days, at the best price compared to competitors. Check-in and return went smoothly thanks to the lovely staff member David! Really appreciated the free shuttle from airport or accommodation, and to the airport once you return the van. Also very nice to have a free corner where you can pick up leftovers. Very recommended!

Dawid was great picking us up at the airport and getting us set up with our van and Munch made the checkout easy (and with no surprises)...everyone else there was upbeat and helpful. They understand that we are showing up sleep-deprived and they are the local experienced partners in our adventures exploring this wonderful country...take advantage of the tools they offer. I found the Google maps sites (one for campsites, one for stores and gas stations) very helpful as well as the apps they recommend you download. We had an amazing experience with Happy Campers back in April! They truly made our trip to Iceland even more fun and unique. We had no issues whatsoever with the camper. It was super comfortable and easy to drive around. The employees were so friendly. Dawid, specifically, went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed for our trip.
We got the Happy 4x4 XL, which had plenty of room for our family of four. It drove easily on paved roads and gravel roads alike. It was nice having the kitchen, and the heat worked well at night.
The only feedback I would have is that some of the "add-ons" were worn and could probably be replaced. But we still got the package that allowed us to get as many add-ons as we wanted and included insurance.. we thought it was worth the price.
We hope we can go to Iceland again so we can use Happy Campers again!

Happy Campers were just brilliant. We met Marta at the start who was so friendly and enthusiastic and got us set up and ready to go. Everything was perfect; our bright green van took us more than 2,000 km with no issues and had everything we needed. The cooking set up was ideal, the fridge was great and everything was clean and ready to go. I particularly loved the campsite map which made it so easy to make last minute adjustments to our plans if we wanted to go further in a day. It was also great not to need electricity - the USB ports all worked perfectly!
Thanks also to Marina who made drop off really easy and made us very sad to say goodbye to our home of 10 days!

Marta was amazing - we were earlier than expected off the plane and she managed to get us into an earlier shuttle. She took the time to give us a thorough overview of what to look for in Iceland, certain rules of the road, one-lane bridges, the one toll bridge, how to deal with wind storms, etc.
When we returned our van, she helped us with directions to get into Reyjkavik - she gave us a shuttle back to the airport, as the airport bus was the easiest and cheapest way to get there. She had a great attitude which made the entire experience even better.

Wir haben noch nie ein Auto unkomplizierter als bei Happy Camper gemietet. Von Anfang bis Ende hat alles problemlos funktioniert. Unser Happy 2 war in einem Top Zustand und bot für 2 Personen optimal viel Platz. Ausstattung ist ebenfalls klasse. Alles dabei, was man für einen entspannten Camping Trip benötigt. Dawid hat uns vom Hotel abgeholt und uns bis zur Übergabe des Autos top begleitet.

From start to finish, Happy Campers made my two weeks in Iceland so enjoyable. I actually was sad to give my little camper van back. Happy campers picked me up from the airport. Eliska walked me through ALL details of the camper van, including how to set up my Bluetooth with it. The QR code that they have right on the dash in the van allowed me to look for campgrounds-to see which one was closest as I was ending my days fun. (I found the reviews on this happy camper QR code pretty accurate relating to campgrounds). I stayed at the happy camper campground the night before my early departure and checking out was as easy as checking in. Thank you Happy Campers.

Happy campers were top tier from pick up at the airport to checking in and check out! Staff is really dope gave us all the warning and heads up ahead of time which made our experience a breeze. Our happy camper 2 was perfect ! Couldn’t have made our Iceland trip any easier, I would rent from happy camper over and over again. Me and my wife literally feel like family .
