Thank you very much for the experience we had with your Team. We rented your campervan from 29th July until 7th August; touring the circle route anti clockwise around Iceland. It was a wonderful experience and we only had good memories of the campervan. Although not the latest model with the strongest engine; it was reliable and never ever failed us. The FRIDGE was the single object we want to praise and really want to mention as it was really excellent.
Regarding your staff at Happy Campers; we really want to mention the special treatment and friendliness we got from Beerke and Milos. Beerke picked us up at the Airport and was extremely patient as we still had to sort out our cell phone contract at the airport. Milos took us back to the airport after we handed in the campervan. We really appreciate his friendliness and enthusiasm about your country and answering all our questions!!
We will really recommend your business to our friends in SA who want to come and explore your very beautiful and special country.

Happy Campers was the perfect choice for what we needed to fully explore Iceland's ring road, we never found ourselves in a spot where we didn't have what we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our trip. The vans are smartly set up so that you can set up and collapse the bed/cooking area without opening the doors (which is essential when the wind gets howling in Iceland). We were cozy every night thanks to the heater unit (which we ran as recommended for only an hour before sleep and that worked great for us!). A really great bonus was the tablet which comes with the van, which has a mobile hotspot that allowed us to stay connected to maps/loved ones throughout our trip! Upon arriving the shuttle service that they provide collected us form the airport as well as dropped us off at the end of our trip which was also a great convenience. I would definitely recommend Happy Campers to any adventurous soul that wants to see all the beauty Iceland has to offer!

We rented the Happy Camper 1 Auto for a 2 week road trip around Iceland and it was fantastic. The camper came with a tablet that provided unlimited Wifi which had quite good receiption. Even though we bought sim cards for our phones with plenty of data, there were times where the wifi from the tablet worked better than the data plan from the sim card.
We LOVED whatever battery system comes with the camper, we were able to keep our phones charged as well as the batteries for my camera. (I brought my own inverter.) The fridge worked great and we ended up cooking most of our dinners and had picnic style lunches. The fridge gets cold enough that it actually froze some of the veggies so we left those out. (You can adjust the temperature, I put the temperature low after we bought raw meats, a little too low.) The stove worked well and we cooked inside the camper (with doors open for ventilation) when campsite kitchens were busy. There is even a sink, which we didn't really use since campsites had sinks for clean-up that gave more space. The campervan came with dishes, utencils, and cooking utencils, a pot and a frying pan.
The bed was actually quite comfortable and we overall slept well.
The campervans are decorated very cutely and it's easy to recognize other Happy Campers on the road. Most waved to us and we waved back (or we waved to them and they waved back.) My one thing I would change would be to take away the decorations on the rear windows since it blocks the view making driving a little more difficult. And maybe something to secure the frying pan a little better.

We rented a 4x4 XL Happy Camper for our family of 4 (two teenagers) to experience the Southern Region of Iceland for 5 days. Great decision. The van itself was clean and worked well. It had a working sink (but don't drink the water from it) and a two burner stove. We brought some dehydrated meals and had dinner in it almost every night. There's also a pretty spacious fridge. All our breakfast and lunch foods fit in there for the whole trip. Plenty of space to sleep and we were never cold at night. Loved that they picked us up from and have a shuttle back to the airport. Easy. They were kind and helpful. We didn't really use the little ipad thing that comes with the van because I had our itenerary worked out and a smart phone does all the rest, but it was nice to know I could contact them any time I needed something, and the campground information on it would be useful if we were not planned out in advance. Great experience all around.

We had a Happy 2 Pax EX for our family of 3 and we would wholeheartedly recommend Happy Campers!! They sorted out all our questions before we arrived and the campervan was easy to drive and comfortable. We grew quite attached to it, actually!:)

We can highly recommend to rent a camper van from Happy Campers. For two weeks a Happy 3 EX has been home to me and my two grown-up children while we explored beautiful Iceland. The camper offered everything you needed to sleep, cook or chill during the trip, with spacious room in the camping fridge, a simple but very useful camping cooker and enough storage room for luggage and provisions. The Happier (Insurance) Bundle allowed us a second driver (no restrictions regarding age), an inverter, which was very convenient, and some very recommendable additional insurances. When help was needed with regards to a flat tire the Service Hotline was immediately available and I think it was MIKE (!?) who organized everything necessary to get us on the road again. The personnel in general was very nice and welcoming. I think Happy Campers knows exactly what is needed to have a great camping vacation on Iceland and for those with enough time I would finally recommend to take part in the Happy Challenge which added some value to our trip and got us a nice additional discount. We were picked up from Reykjavik Airport and brought to their headquarters, about 20 mins away I would say. The establishment and facilities are clean, neat and organized. Owner and staff are courteous, polite, friendly, helpful and patient since this was our first time vancamping. We rented out their 4x4 XL (there are 3 adults 1child and it was enough room for your luggage and all). No problems with the performance at all....All in all, Happy Campers made our Iceland experience so much more pleasant and enjoyable! I've chatted with them using their tablet and/or send pictures when we have questions or issues during our travels around Iceland, or call them directly. BTW, the WiFi/internet is phenomenally fast and you are almost always connected no matter where you are! Awesome company and work culture! Amazing!

Awesome van, great people. The van had everything we needed for us and our daughter. Clean comfortable, lots of storage, easy to use stove and cooler and the tablet with the wireless hotspot was great. We could not have had the awesome trip we had without the camper. Everyone at Happy campers was super helpful and friendly too. Great experience, 5 stars.

Coming from a pretty bad experience with car rentals with Sicily by car malta, I could not have been happier to find such nice, honest and humane professionals at Happy Campers. It was a choice based on car specifics and prices, but it turned out to be the right one once we got to meet the people there.
A really nice lady - sadly I can't recall her name, but I think she said she was from Greece - welcomed us when we got there with the shuttle from the airport. She checked us in and covered everything there was to know about our van, Icelandic roads, fuels, useful websites and what not; in less than 90 mins we were ready to set off on our trip!
Benjamin was also really helpful when checking our van at the end of our stay; he reassured us that a couple of scratches would not be a problem. We had been so worried...!
This cute little red van (HAPPY 1 EX, Nissan NV200) was our home for 11 days and it was perfect in every way. It is spacious enough for two, has more than enough storage for food and stuff, and the bed can conveniently turn into a couch during the day, so you can cook and eat comfortably inside, when it's too cold, windy or there are too many midgets outside (plus you can store pillows and blankets away during the day and keep everything nice and clean for the night). Charging devices was never a problem: the solar panel provided us with 11 to 14 volts and there are two USB ports. Our phones took less than 30 mins to charge.
We drove 2400 km around the Ring Road, and yet I was so so sad to say goodbye to our home on wheels and fly back to Italy :(
I will definitely choose Happy Campers again when I have the chance to go back to this unforgettable country.

Happy Camper is the perfect solution to explore Iceland! The EX1 Nissan campervan turned out comfortable and reliable in all parts of our ringroad trip. We had no problems going for the Ring, we could handle perfectly even gravel/dirty roads (not F-roads since this van wasn't equipped for those).
They provided us with everything needed.
The bed was way more comfortable than expected, we slept warmly for our 11 days trip (end of July, occasionally used the heater).
The staff was really informative, friendly and very helpful!
Liliana was very thorough in the delivery, showing us every feature of the vehicle and explaining everything we needed to know to travel safely in Iceland.
Benjamin was so kind in assisting us and checking the van.
I'd recommend Happy Campers to anyone coming to this wonderful country!

Great experience. We rented the 2-3pax van and it was more than enough room for my husband and I, in fact we never felt on top of each other. Service at Happy camper was top notch and very friendly. I hade to change my plans a few times before the trip and they were always accomendating. When we come back we'll rent from Happy camper again!
