Todos nos trataron muy bien en Happycampers y nos hicieron todo más fácil. Tuvimos problemas con la nevera y nos la cambiaron por otra al momento. La camper 4x4 que usamos, necesita algún repasillo sin importancia. Pudimos hacer parte del happy-challenge y nos devolvieron el porcentaje del importe conseguido sin problemas. Muy recomendable sobre todo por el servicio recibido tanto por teléfono cuando estábamos visitando la impresionante isla, como previamente por correo electrónico, nos resolvieron todas las dudas antes de salir de España.

Amber and I rented the smallest (red) campervan for 16 days. It was a great experience. The campervan is small, but affordable and dependable for the icelandic roads. The yellow/green/bue ones are bigger.
During the trip, we could ask for help using the wifi/satnav tablet. We got very quick replies!
Bjarki helped us really well, picking up the van and Ljiliana helped us really well at returning the van. We even got a more than fair compensation for a minor shortcoming inside the van. Very considerate!
Very helpful staff and a nice concept.

PS for future renters: Definitely consider getting a campingcard/utilegukortid for reduced/free campsites if you rent a van here for two weeks.

We had the pleasure of driving the new Happy 1 camper and it did not disappoint! This was our third trip to Iceland, and our third time choosing Happy Campers, and we have no regrets! We brought family with us to camp after our wedding in Iceland, and they too chose Happy Campers the new Happy 1 has so many great features and we felt super comfortable. The new stove and cooler were both bigger and better than the previous model, and the push to start feature was a huge plus! We even drove our camper on our wedding day and it was a blast.
We would like to thank Greta for her fantastic customer service! We have had the pleasure of working with her the last two times we used Happy Campers, and she is absolutely wonderful!
We plan on coming back to visit the Westfjords, and will be trying out their 4x4 camper next time! We can’t wait! 10/10 would rent again.

We took the Happy 1 EX and the truth is that it is perfectly prepared to go around the island and take everything with you. The bed is more comfortable than we thought at first. As for the service for the delivery of the car was quite good and for the return of it was very fast and they did not put any problem, it is true that we had insurance that covered everything, which on the other hand I recommend in Iceland. The staff at Happy Campers were very friendly and helpful, and on the day we returned the car they were very kind to take us to our accommodation even though we arrived late and they were about to close. 100% recommended.

We had a great experience with Happy Camper! It was easy to book, the check in was thorough and informational, and it had everything we needed to see Iceland. Both employees introduced themselves (but our jet lagged brains can't remember names). The man with facial hair, piercings, and tattoos at the register was super helpful and humorous with tips for travel. The woman who showed us the van (she was not originally from Iceland with dark hair) was very thorough and showed us everything we needed.
We loved having the tablet and wifi Hotspot. We had more than enough blankets and dishes.We would like to book a 4x4 van next time we go!

C’est le moins cher car c est un vehicule pour 2 personnes, de 2017 (le notre avait 240000 km environ), non 4x4
Le rapport qualité prix est très bon, même avec la pack d assurance (indispensable en islande compte tenu des nombreuses pistes avec graviers traversant les plus beaux paysages)
Le vehicule etait robuste et confortable
Adapté au rude climat islandais
Agreable à conduire
Conso en diesel normale
L amenagement etait pratique : à l interieur un canapé lit, rechaud, petit lavabo , un petit frigo (pour mettre environ 5 jours de provision au frais), un petit chauffage (non utilisé en juillet ), ustensile pour cuisiner, manger, des draps
Ce qui est bien par rapport aux autres van croisés sur la route c’est qu’il est possible de vraiment profiter d un espace repas/detente avec le lit en mode canapé, et d un espace nuit avec le lit déplié
Le service client est tres bon et efficace
Deux mois avant le depart nous avons du decaler nos dates en raison d un changelent de vol : un email a suffi
Pendant la location j ai crevé un pneu sur une route de gravier dans les westfjords
J ai appelé le servicd client qui m expliqué comment liberer la roue de secours sous le van puis a arrangé un rdv immediat dans un garage local pour changer la roue
J ai payé 170 euros au garage
Puisque l assurance couvrait le changement de roue , j ai ete remboursé en seulement 2 jours par virement, simplement apres envoi d une photo de la facture et du ticket cb
Bref c est une super société
Pour mon prochain voyage , je reprendrai un van chez eux, mais en 4x4 pour explorer encore un peu plus l islande
Pour un premier voyage de deux semaines pour voir les principaux sites tout autour de l islande (ring road westfojords et snafelsenes), le 4x4 n est pas forcement necessaire

Super Camper. Preis- Leistung stimmt. Super freundliches Personal. Wir hatten den Happy 2 für 3 Personen, waren aber nur zu zweit somit hatten wir genügend Platz. Konnten zwei große und zwei kleine Koffer unterbringen. Es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Eine Spüle mit Putzsachen (Bürste, Tuch und Spülmittel)Zwei Herdplatten. Zwei Lampen. Stecker für Tablet oder Handy. Bestes überhaupt ist die kleine Heizung. Nachts wenn es kalt ist einfach top. Mein Freund konnte super fahren, da es auch ein Automatik war :). Die Fenster sind mit Vorhänge zu verdunkeln. Bettwäsche und Bettzeug sind auch super gewesen, wir haben aber trotzdem auch Schlafsäcke mit gehabt weil es manchmal in der Nacht doch wohl kalt ist. Somit einfach zu empfehlen :) wir kommen wieder

I’d recommend happy campers to anyone heading to Iceland. My husband and I found the Happy 2-3pax automatic van perfect for the two of us - the bed was big enough and reasonably comfortable. If didn’t feel too cramped cooking and eating inside it during bad weather. We stayed warm while only using the heater occasionally (July). The wifi hotspot was strong, though we had to toggle it off/on to get it to connect pretty often. There was plenty of fuel for the stove, dishes and utensils for meals, soap and towel for washing dishes, and space for luggage. The vehicle worked great - it was almost brand new, but we never had concerns about the battery dying, the tires leaking, etc - no problems at all. Though we didn’t intentionally take any F-roads (this certainly isn’t the proper vehicle for it), we did end up on some dirt/gravel roads that made for a rough ride, but the van handled them ok!
Suggestions: pack your own pillow because the ones provided are laughably flat & useless. Bring an electric kettle if you have room, because boiling water on the little stove takes foreeeeever (many of the campground kitchens do have kettles though). Bring bungees/carabiners/s-hooks to hang things like towels/trash bag/etc. and to keep them from sliding all over on the floor/counter. There is plenty of storage space, but no spare cubbies or hooks to organize things in the back. Note: there is only 1 usb and 1 usb-c port that can be used while the van is off - you may want to have a charging brick or a multi-port adaptor to use at night. You’ll probably want to have some small bags for garbage, and an extra hand towel or two.

Like the company name says happy camers, just we were the happiest campers for one week. Iceland is the best for camping and happy 1ex camper from happy campers is just enough for one week. We have everything we want at any time, fridge, sink, kitchen utensils, bed for two person, gas stow, place for our luggage and much more...
We also bought the basic insurance which includes gravel protection as i highly recommends as we were hit by pebbles of gravel roads and even on highways sometimes
We want to send big thanks to Liljana from happy campers. She was the best, the frendlies, nicest person we met. We have really warm welcome and she share very useful informations about the country, the roads and what to expect. She also offers as to include internet into the offer and that was very good decision. The tablet with internet was wery helpful. Iceland have a lot to offer from glaciers, volcano fields waterfalls, geysirs and i highly recommend choosing happy campers 10/10

We are very happy with our choice of Happy Campers for our Iceland campervan excursion. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 older teenage kids) rented a Happy 3 Auto and were quite comfortable. The price was competitive and the van was reliable and well outfitted with everything we needed for our 11 day tour of the island. The staff was extremely helpful, promptly answering my questions and providing advice on several occasions leading up to our trip and while we were getting the van to start out journey. The tablet with the Happy app, GPS, and the 4G Wi-Fi hotspot was a great feature helping with our journey and keeping us connected. Amazingly, we had full Wi-Fi coverage in all but a few of the more remote locations we traveled, which is more than I can say for the coverage around the Boston metro area along the commuter rail route I travel. If you are planning to experience the beauty of Iceland by campervan, check out Happy Campers - you won't be disappointed!

We rented a camper van from Happy Campers for our vacation in Iceland. The helpful and courteous staff made our getting started on this epic adventure much easier. We had a few small issues mechanically before the trip but their staff jumped on it and made it right before we left. They even allowed us the use of the campground for a couple of hours to rest after our late flight in.
I would definitely recommend these folks for your rental needs if ever you’re in Iceland. We will be returning and renting again when we come back during the winter season.
Side note: we left an item in our van; the staff found it and brought it out to us at the airport before we flew out.

We had the time of our lives during the 9 full days on the Ring Road, in our Happy Camper 1 EX (the cruise control was key)!
We're of average height and slim, so the van fit us well, and I'd return in a heartbeat!

We can fully recomend Happy Campers! Everything was perfect and no detailed examination of returned camper. We really loved our Happy Kempík, which has everything, what you need for two. Their small happy campers are with the best interier setting compared to others. Next time with 4x4 ;)

Rented the Happy 4x4 for 15 days in summer. I had previously done this trip in Iceland in a non-4x4 vehicle and it was doable, but the 4x4 difference was dramatic. It was easy to drive on the gravel roads and manage the terrain so much better that we got to do and see more. Wasn't the most comfortable sleep in the world but at nearly 40 it wasn't the worst, either. It was set up with everything we needed for the trip. And considering all the pans and plates - it was a pretty quiet ride with very little moving around while driving. Loved it. Recommended highly.

Wow! What can I say about how brilliant Happy Campers have been?
Firstly, we were originally booked to visit in 2022 but had to cancel at short notice due to a family emergency. Happy Campers were amazingly understanding and allowed us to defer our trip on the original deposit. A lot of companies would say “tough” keep the original deposit and charge a new one for the new booking. At that point we knew we’d booked with the right company.
During the 18 months between first booking and finally getting out to Iceland I messaged Happy Campers numerous times asking questions and requesting discount codes and I always got a reply super quick and always exceptionally helpful.
We arrived at Keflavik tired and flustered and were greeted by Benjamin. It says on the website he’s on a mission to ensure everyone has a great experience and I can say to Benjamin “mission accomplished”. Friendly, helpful and a great intro to Iceland. Him and my other half chatted away like old friends on the journey back to Happy Campers
Back at the office we were helped by another really lovely team member. I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name, but she was Croatian, and she answered all of our questions, had loads of insight and info on do’s, don’ts, and helpful tips for our trip as well.
Now to the van. It was an absolute dream! I’m only 5’ tall so sometimes struggle to comfortably drive bigger vehicles and I only drive a small hatchback so thought I might take some time to adjust to the much bigger van but no such problems. In fact I was gutted to hand her back as she was so nice to drive Plenty of space for all our stuff, easy to drive, comfy as both driver and passenger. Cosy and warm overnight with a big comfy bed. The curtains did a great job of darkening the van despite the seemingly never ending daylight. The big (and cold!) fridge was excellent and the add-on Bbq was so good we’ve been trying to source one for home!
The Happy Challenge is a great incentive to get out there and see some parts of Iceland that don’t make the headlines when planning a trip... As well as the bonus of earning back some of the rental cost. Plus we’re both competitive so it really spoke to that part of our nature. We set ourselves a target of doing 10/20 of the challenge list and actually made 11 (insta: @womblebird) and honestly we preferred many of the Happy Challenge stops over the big name tourist spots.
All in all our whole experience of Happy Campers from start to finish has been above and beyond exceptional. We’ve already recommended them to several people back home who have expressed an interest in visiting Iceland with a campervan, as well as started planning our next trips out where we will definitely be going as Happy Campers again.

We had five days to explore Iceland, and our Happy Camper 1 fit our needs perfectly. Happy Campers had everything necessary to outfit the camper from the sleeping bags/comforters, to the "kitchen". The van itself was fuel efficient, comfortable, and easy to drive (I love standard transmissions). It made it easy to go where we wanted, when we wanted. The best way to travel. Milos, at Happy Campers, and indeed all the staff really made to whole process a great experience.

Overall it was a fantastic experience booking our campervan with happ campers. Our trip was so much fun and we really got to see and do a lot. We rented the 4x4 3pax, and it was the right amount of space for 2 people. We were able to drive confidently (albeit carefully) over the F roads and purchased the full insurance.
There were some setbacks initially, but we didn't let it rain on our trip. Airport pickup is a bit chaotic and left us feeling like we might have been better off finding another way. We were finally picked up about an hour after our scheduled time, which was still super early in the morning. Upon arrival to the office, we were helped quickly but then handed off about 2 other times. Meanwhile, other people arriving after us got their vans and left within minutes. We sat around for close to another hour. They were quite busy and appeared under staffed. We requested a bbq grill, which didn't have fuel, and we were told to just go to a gas station and swap it, and they would reimburse us. We could not find any gas station or market that had fuel available, so that was a bummer but didn't ruin the trip by any means. Our GPS/tablet worked while we were at the office, but once we really got going, it became unreliable, and the wifi was nonexistent. The power cord was also not working in the van. Luckily, we had our phones and had service to continue on our journey.
The bedding was enough for 2 people, but on our next trip, we will be stopping somewhere to buy additional bedding for more comfort.
As stated earlier, overall, it was a fantastic trip, and we would be so thrilled to use happy campers again in the future.

Happy Campers was a fantastic company to work with, starting with their communication to getting the campervan. My husband & I were in the Happy 2-3 Pax for 3 weeks and we were very happy with our choice. This campervan has been designed so well, had lots of room for everything, it was very easy to cook in and had plenty of room for sleeping.
Milos picked us up from the airport, walked us through our campervan and then drove us back to the airport at the end of our trip. Milos was super friendly and very helpful!!
We highly recommend Happy Campers - you can definitely tell it is family run because of the pride they take in their business.
