Where to start,, at the beginning I suppose, great communication from the beginning online questions, charming driver from the airport, polite and helpful staff checking in and checking out. The camper van worked mechanically perfect, our 10 days in the van were great, plenty of room, comfy bed and we slept well every night. Had the chance to wave at 100 other Happy Campers while on the Ring Road, it’s a great little (big) posse to run with! I’d like to add pictures because how can you take pictures in Iceland without throwing the van in now and then! I’d give them, the staff and van, 11’s if it was a scale of 1-10. Don’t look any further while searching online for a camper van, just go with the best.

Happy Campers is amazing! We had the best experience there. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We LOVED our van. I even put a pretty good scratch and dent in the van (maybe don't take them into parking garages ) paid our deductible and they were so nice about it. But get premium insurance ... It's worth it. Highly recommend Happy Campers. I hope to use them again in the future!

We had the most amazing experience with our Happy 1 camper. Our van was well equipped for our 11-day trip and we were very comfortable each night (warm heater, cosy blankets). The resources available on the website were invaluable when planning our trip and the tablet was so useful for wifi/travel plans/finding hidden attractions during our trip. We had great service at the office both at arrival and departure and would recommend Happy Campers to anyone coming to Iceland.

Saludos, nuestra experiencia en happy campers fué una inolvidable, desde el dia uno todo el personal fuè muy amable. No me se los nombres de cada uno de ellos pero viajamos en septiembre de este año (2021) y le enviamos un caluroso abrazo desde Puerto Rico. Simplemente los recomiendo, fué inolvidable e Islandia dejó gratos recuerdos. Saludos a nuestro nuevo amigo Arnold que fué muy amable con nosotros! 5 estrellas para happy campers y todo su team de trabajo :)

Just returned from a great trip to Iceland, what a wonderful country. We picked Happy Campers for our rental and we were not disappointed. Courteous service, concern when something wasn't right and an impeccably clean and well-stocked camper van. Very fair to us on some damage to our door from another camper and we would have no hesitation using their services again or in recommending them as a great company to deal with if you are traveling to Iceland. Krist (?) picked us up from the airport and dropped us back to it, helped us in every way possible. Thank you, Happy Campers!

We took the happy 1 that was great, everything was in great conditions, clean and new with everything you need for your travel.
The happy campers staff were so nice and helpful. It was easy to contact them from anywhere and the response was always really quick. in addition, they give you a lot of great and helpful information and discounts for travelling in Iceland. we really recomend renting happy campers! it just- easy, cozy and safe !

Truely a happy experience all around. Great vans, staff and assistance along the way. Very easy to book, many options already included and even more available at very fair prices. Had a great trip with Happy Campers. It was great getting a shuttle to and from the airport. They provided everything we needed to enjoy and see everything we wanted to in Iceland. This was definitely the best price we found as Iceland can get costly. The van itself was trustworthy and had a stove, fridge, bedding, privacy curtains, storage, and we were able to make it our home for two weeks.

Happy Campers did a fantastic job and we feel we got more than we paid for all considering the other options various campers told us they chose instead. Their vehicle worked great and I felt safe driving throughout the ring road 1 and 2. The sleeper seats were comfortable and the cooking space was just the right amount we needed to prepare our daily meals. I wish I could remember everyone's name who helped us. Joe promptly picked us up at the main office and took us back to the airport! What an awesome guy.

We just finished our 10 nights in a Happy 4x4 and it was such a good experience. The van was new with only 30k km on the clock and handled everything we threw at it. It was very comfortable with the heater at night and the fridge held more than enough food and beers. The whole experience from pickup to dropoff was flawless.
Would like to make special mention of Benjamin on the desk who is a really good bloke and the young blonde guy who threw in extra sleeping bags and wifi devices after encouraging us to hit some more obscure f roads. Legends all around.

Happy Campers helped make our bucket list trip a dream come true. Start to finish, everyone was incredibly helpful and communicative. The lovely woman who checked us in was very thorough in showing us around the van. The van itself was well equipped and cozy. I would possibly recommend bringing a camping pad for extra cushion if you need some extra padding to sleep on as you can feel all the lumps and creases of the folded down bed, but it didn't stop us from getting a good night's sleep after exploring each day. And thanks Happy Campers for the Pakgill (Thakgill?) campsite recommendation! It was a wonderland spot that we are still dreaming about.

Great value and they have thought of nearly everything you will need for your stay. We were able to cook every meal in the van and saved a ton of money. The van we rented was pretty good on gas milage as well.

Everything about them was great. They picked us up from the airport, let us store some luggage in their office, were always helpful when we had any doubts and gave us a ton of information. The camper was comfortable, reliable and precisely what we needed, and upon returning we got a free lift to our hotel. I definitely recommend renting here!

We've have used happy campers 3 times now and their customer service is second to none. We've seen a few other campervan companies around but non seem to have the rock n roll sofa, that turns into a bed. Most just have beds in the back but you don't have anywhere to sit.
Their vans are equipped with everything you will need. Totally recommend this company.

We ❤️ Happy Campers! Plain and simple. The van was great and we were comfortable for 12 nights. But, it was the staff at Happy Campers that made our trip so enjoyable
One word of advice, make sure you confirm your pickup time well in advance. We didn’t and got to happy campers at 8:15 am after a red eye flight and waited 3.5 hours to get our van. This was our bad for not reading the fine print, so no fault of Happy Campers. We will happily book again with them in the future ✌

Great Company. The staff was friendly ( curly hair lady not that much thou) but they told us everything we needed. They also have a nice take some pictures challenge to get some good discounts during your trip. The van was great and equipped with everything we needed. Blankets kitchen ware and bed linen.
