I just would like to thank Sam Ivy K9 consultants and especially my trainer Blas for helping me with my dog Ryder!Blas was always on time he very knowledgeable and very professional i had my doubts when i contacted this company being that i had gone thru several trainers with no results!But thanks to Blas my dog has improved tremendously i must say that i contacted Sam Ivy my dog would not let me sleep at night!How happy i am because now i sleep like a baby.Please ask for Blas you will not regret it!

I contacted Sam Ivy K9 because I was unable to walk my 5-yr-old German Shepherd near another dog without her barking, growling, and lunging. Over the past 4 years, I worked with several different trainers on this issue and never had any success until I worked with trainer Mirabel from Sam Ivy. Mirabel gave clear instructions for training. She was very supportive, helped me feel more confident, and she was fun to work with. Now my dog is much better behaved on walks and people actually comment on her good behavior.

As soon as I got my miniature Australian Shepherd puppy, I knew I wanted to be the best pet owner possible which included ensuring that I was training my puppy properly. I ran into another mini Aussie owner who recommended Sam Ivy. In her words, Sam Ivy changed her life. I reached out to Sam Ivy and met with Claudia. I also checked prices with two other trainers working in Miami, but ultimately decided to go with Sam Ivy.
I have not regretted my decision and would highly recommend Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants. After struggling for weeks in trying to teach my puppy to stay in a particular spot (we kept tripping over him in the kitchen while making dinner), Blas taught me how to properly teach him the spot/place command and in fact, my puppy pretty much had the command down and was obeying by Blas’s next visit a few days later! Blas has also helped solve issues with leash pulling and Blas was able to even break his habit of chewing on the leash. I have learned that it’s all about the technique and Blas definitely has a great understanding of dogs and what works and what doesn’t work. He has taught me how to effectively communicate for greater compliance and a general better relationship with my dog.

My “advanced on leash” course with Jackie was a wonderful experience for both for me & Karma..It was so beneficial in getting us prepared for “Service & Therapy” training. She learned more than I was hoping for and would recommend Sam Ivy to anyone wanting professional & practical training for everyday needs.
