After hiring two different trainers during Lily's first year, we finally found a trainer who changed our lives. Ryan at SamIvy was a godsend. She was professional, encouraging, and totally supportive during the 12 sessions - and always available. Lily is like a new dog. People are amazed when I tell them about the success we had with a Zoom-based trainer. But this method really taught us how to do the training and, because we met twice a week, ensured that we did our homework between sessions.
I can't give enough praise to Ryan and to the SamIvy method.

Our boxer, Frankie, had become very reactive to anyone he could see out our back window, and would excitedly jump on people who came inside that he was happy to see. He was also nervous going on walks. Holli, our trainer, was very thorough and articulate when explaining Frankie’s low confidence and teaching us how stop his unwanted behaviors. I was skeptical about training via video, but it actually worked great. Frankie has stopped barking and scaring the pool guy, stopped jumping on guests, and he’s walking past scary lawn maintenance trucks more confidently. Our training with Frankie will continue even though our work with Holli is finished, but I feel that we have the knowledge and tools to keep Frankie on the right track.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but considering this six week training saved my sanity, I feel obligated to share my experience with others. The day I reached out I was on the verge of flying my puppy back to where he came from. Fortunately I got assigned the best trainer I could have asked for, Holli. She didn’t just train my dogs, she trained me and gave me all the tools I needed in order to take control and calm the constant noise and chaos my pets were causing. Holli made sure each lesson was understood and even reached out between sessions to ensure that progress was being made. I would absolutely recommend Samlvy to others seeking training for their pets.
