Forget Switch! Forget Machines! Last November, I wanted to replace my aging battery and I was told that because my Face ID camera was faulty, I must fixed the camera and any other issues with the phone before the battery can be replaced. The fix? Replacement of the circuit board which cost RM3k . My phone finally failed to boot up in May, due to water damage and I brought the phone to Second Life Asia as my last resort to recover the phone. I have put in some conditions; please fix the phone, don't factory reset, safeguard the content, fix my Face ID and replace the battery. I was really anxious when I was told it will take 5-7 working days to diagnose the issue. Nonetheless, I was given regular updates on the progress. Six days later, I was informed that my phone was fixed. And I mean actual fixing, where the faulty chips and components were replaced! Which was amazing! When I picked up my phone, everything was working, even the Face ID. After living 2.5 years without this feature, I finally got it back! All my existing content and data were unaffected. The feeling is as though I received my phone in pristine condition. The price? One third what Switch and Machines quoted. So worth it! I am really happy and extremely pleased with the results. I must mention Ms. Kim for fixing the device and demonstrating everything was in working order and the replacement battery is original. Thank you so much, Ms. Kim, for giving my phone a second chance and a second life. If you own an Apple device which needs fixing, please give Second Life Asia a chance to diagnose and possibly fix it. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the wonderful and friendly service. Though am not too sure why it took so long to diagnose the issue but it was worth the wait. My phone was saved with all the data still intact. Not to mention that the charges was reasonable too.

I had an issue with my old MacBook Air and called half an hour before their closing time and they were happy to take it in for me. There were no pre-diagnosing charges that you would get if you went to the Apple Authorised Repair Store and it was quickly resolved within 24 hours and they are transparent about their pricing, I am super happy with having it back up and working!

Great Service… My MacBook Pro early 2013 when boot up could not detect battery. Took it to Second Life and what fantastic service. The technician, Mus, told me it could be a mother board chip issue or battery issue. He took out the battery and put in a new one and it worked. He said it was a battery issue. He could have stopped there and replace the new battery and charged me 699.00 MYR for it. But instead he said he will replace the original battery and see if it works as it could be a loose connection. Walla, when he put it back and tightened all the screws it worked just fine. What a relief that it was not a mother board issue or even a battery issue, but just some loose connection! Saved some good cash Than I asked him what is the cost for the workmanship. He said no charge. I thought I heard wrong and asked him again. He said no charge. OMG that’s what I call service. NB: the current battery was a replacement that I did at their place about a year and a half ago and warranty is over! Also wonder what Apple Service would have charged!!!

I brought my old 2013 MacBook that could not be charged. After detailed checking of every possible problem from charger to charging point, to mother board etc, the team located the problem. The team was very professional right from the start and for all the repair work, the fee was surprisingly fair! Battery replaced on 11 March, 2022 Review submitted on 18 March, 2022 I decided to wait a week before writing this review to make sure everything is alright after the batter replacement, and I shall say so far so good! The entire process was fast, took just about an hour plus. The staffs were very nice and professional, they answered all questions I had, clear and direct. At first, I was kinda worried that my phone might not work as usual after the battery replacement but it turned out perfectly fine. Recommended!
