Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are proud to be named a 2024 Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation, according to the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). Only about one out of every ten companies in the country are selected to be on this list, highlighting their success in employee engagement. “The Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever team is honored to receive this award alongside so many wonderful companies and organizations,” said Sarah Mills, PF & QF’s vice president of human resources. “One of our team members said it best in the feedback from our engagement survey: ‘I truly enjoy the people we get to work with each day and the opportunity to make a positive impact on our habitat mission.’ I don’t think I could say it any better – this is a special place to work.” The winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm, which reviewed several key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. Examples of assessed categories include employee enrichment, recruitment and selection, and communication and shared vision. Wondering if you have the right cover for quail? The softball method is a great way to assess habitat quality. Quail need enough overhead cover to keep them safe from predators, but enough open space underneath to be able to run through the cover or flush out when necessary. Creating quality cover next to good nesting and brood rearing habitat is a win-win scenario for bobwhite! #quailforever #bobwhitequail #quail
