Quail Forever Journal Editor, Ryan Sparks, wants to hear about the unique old shotguns that have become part of your upland memories – the hand-me-downs, the barn finds, the guns that carry history.
Submit 1–3 high-quality photos of your shotgun (in the field or a close-up beauty shots) plus 100-300 words about what makes it special:
What is it and where did it come from?
What stories does it tell?
Why does it still ride in the truck season after season or why does it sit in a place of prominence in your home?
Selected submissions will be featured in the fall issue of Quail Forever Journal.
Send your story and photos to rsparks@quailforever.org with the subject line: “This Old Gun.”
If you want a chance to see your story in the Quail Forever Journal be sure you are a QF member if you aren't already!
