Last week the Cullman Police Department Investigation Division and Tactical Unit, in conjunction with Covenant Rescue Group and District Attorney Champ Crocker, conducted a child exploitation sting operation designed to target child predators and protect the innocent children of our community. During the course of the operation, eight individuals were arrested on various charges (listed below). The investigation into these individuals and others is still ongoing and more charges are likely to follow. We would like to thank Covenant Rescue Group for their assistance and dedication in ensuring child predators are held accountable for their actions when targeting children for immoral purposes. - Dalton Lynn Gilliland, age 31, of Blountsville, AL was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - Brody Hayes Bates, age 33, of Cullman, AL was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - Yovani Alan Cruz Martinex, age 20, of Blountsville, AL was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - William Henry Clift, age 59, of Hazel Green, AL was arrested and Charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - Mung Sian Kim, age 31, of Cullman, AL was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking 1st Degree, Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - Ryan Philip Nobriga, age 31, of Town Creek, AL was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking 1st Degree, Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - Juan Carlos Gutierrez, age 41, of Decatur, AL was arrested and charged with Human Trafficking 1st Degree, Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, and Electronic Solicitation of a Child - Carey Andrew Kraehmer, age 43, of Seymour, TN was arrested and charged with Traveling to meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act, Electronic Solicitation of a Child, Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes, and Facilitating the travel for a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act. As previously stated, this investigation is still ongoing, and more arrests are expected to follow. ***All subjects listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law***

Last year the Cullman Police Department joined with the Pink Patch Project to help raise breast cancer awareness during the month of October and we are pleased to have the patches again this year. The Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. As part of this initiative, the Cullman Police Department is selling these pink patches for $10. Proceeds from the sales of these patches will go directly to benefit cancer research and treatment. You can support the #PinkPatchProject by purchasing a patch (CASH ONLY) at the police department during business hours Monday- Friday 8am till 4pm.
