The Cullman Police Department Helicopter Pilot, Officer Matt Dean got to deliver Santa Claus to the Elks Lodge this weekend and yesterday, Officer Dean, Officer Gene Bates and Officer Seth Sullivan brought the gingerbread man to visit the kids at Cullman Primary School.

Santa Claus is coming to town this Friday, December 2, 2022, for the Downtown Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting! The event will kick off at 6:00 pm with the Christmas parade beginning at the Busy Bee Café and ending at Depot Park. The tree lighting ceremony will be held shortly after the parade and will feature a number of fun-filled festivities including the lighting production of the 42-foot tree, pictures with Santa, children’s activities, and so much more. The Cullman Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual in these videos. If you know or may know the individual in these videos, please contact Sgt Trey Higginbotham at 256-775-7178. The suspect is believed to be driving a white or silver SUV.

This evening at approximately 5:19 pm Cullman City Communications received a call about a robbery at Factory Connection. The subject was wearing a camo jacket, blue jeans, a gray hat and was wearing an orange colored mask. The subject was armed. This is believed to be an isolated incident and we do not believe there is any danger to the community. If anyone has any information about this incident please contact the Cullman Police Department’s Investigation division.
