Citizens of Cullman are being contacted from a spoofed Cullman Police Department number by someone claiming to be an employee of the Cullman Police Department. The subject calling tells the victim that they missed a court date and have a warrant for their arrest.
This is a reoccurring scam where the caller eventually asks for payment in lieu of being arrested. If you are contacted, DO NOT give out any personal information and/or banking information. Hang up and contact the Cullman Police Department.
