Today, we had the opportunity to celebrate the conclusion of our community events for the year, with plans to begin again in January. Throughout the year, this dedicated group served more than 2,000 meals and played a vital role in the planning, logistics, setup, and cleanup for the majority of our community events. Their commitment and teamwork made a meaningful impact on everything we were able to accomplish. We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all divisions of the Cullman Police Department who stepped up and served alongside us throughout the year. These efforts truly highlight how important it is for all of us to come together, across divisions, to make these events possible and to best serve our community. It takes teamwork at every level to make this happen, and we are grateful for the dedication shown by everyone involved. As we look ahead, we are excited to continue serving the citizens of Cullman in the new year. Beginning in January, our upcoming efforts will include several speaking engagements, education luncheons for future leaders of Cullman, the Community Cookout, our annual Golf Tournament, Coffee with a Cop, Shop with a Cop, Trunk or Treat, and many more events designed to strengthen relationships and serve our community. It has truly been our pleasure to serve the citizens of Cullman, and we look forward to expanding our outreach with even more opportunities to connect and give back in the coming year. None of this would be possible without the dedication of these individuals, the support of every division within the Cullman Police Department, and the continued support of our sponsors, hosts, and the citizens of Cullman. Thank you for standing with us and helping make a difference. #ServingCullman #CommunityFirst #CullmanPolice #Teamwork #CommunityEngagement #CullmanAL #PublicService #ThankYou

We would like to sincerely thank all of our officers, volunteers, sponsors, Walmart South, and Chick-fil-A for helping make another Shop with a Cop event a tremendous success. Because of your generosity and support, we were able to bless 22 children, and even provide a little extra help for a few families in need. Events like this mean so much to us at the Cullman Police Department. Shop with a Cop is about more than shopping, it’s about building trust, creating positive memories, and showing our community’s children that they are valued, supported, and cared for. Seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and spending one-on-one time with these kids reminds us why we do what we do. We are truly grateful to everyone who played a role in making this day special and for helping us continue to strengthen the bond between our officers and the community we proudly serve. 💙👮‍♂️🎄

Last night, the Cullman Police Department was blessed to come together for our annual Christmas Dinner and Awards Ceremony. This special evening was graciously sponsored by Premier Bank of the South, whose continued support of our department and community means so much to us. After enjoying a wonderful meal prepared by Stonebridge Farms and Kims Parkside Catfish. District Attorney Champ Crocker presented his Valor Awards to Investigators Nick Watkins and Hunter Riddlesperger, Officer Chad Ashworth, Sgt. Rob Long, Sgt. Zane Pounders, and Lt. Trey Higginbotham. Their dedication, courage, and commitment to serving our community set an outstanding example for all of us. Following the Valor recognitions, Chief Joey Duncan presented departmental awards to several deserving officers. A full list of award recipients will be shared later this weekend. We were honored to have several of our Cullman Police Department retirees join us, along with Mayor Woody Jacobs and Council Members Kim Hall, Paul Schafer, Chuck Shikle, and Jason Willoughby. Their presence made the evening even more special as we celebrated not only the accomplishments of the past year but also the relationships that continue to strengthen our department. A special thank-you goes to Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism for allowing us to use the Warming House at Cullman Christkindlmarkt. The space was perfect for bringing everyone together and made the evening even more enjoyable. It was a wonderful night of fellowship with friends, families, and colleagues. We extend our heartfelt thanks once again to Premier Bank of the South for sponsoring this year’s dinner and to our caterers for an outstanding meal. We truly appreciate the unwavering support shown to the Cullman Police Department and are grateful for the opportunity to serve such a strong and caring community. #CPDfamily 🎄🎅☃️
