WE WILL REMEMBER THEM // The whole school gathered at 9am today for a very reverent ANZAC Chapel Service. We were reminded of the importance of commemorating the service the of those who defend our nation and work together for peace throughout the world, in the past, the present and the future. The symbols that are part of ANZAC services were explained by student representatives, and Army Chaplain, Major David Hassan, gave a thought provoking address. Members of Mamre Cadet Rural Fire Brigade formed the flag party and assisted students who brought flowers to place at the flagpole. A special thank you to Mr Merv Lawrence who played The Last Post and The Rouse on the bugle.
Lest we forget.

ANZAC DAWN SERVICE // Our Captains, Vice Captains, Mrs Graydon, Mrs Bezzina and Mr Millard attended the dawn service at St Marys RSL this morning. It was a wonderful service which truly honored the servicemen and women of the Australian Defence Force. We were reminded that it is 50 years since Australia withdrew troops from Vietnam. Today we particularly remember our Vietnam Veterans and honour their courage.
