We explored Iceland in one of the red mini-campers (the new one) and it was the perfect choice. The car is small enough that you find a parking space everywhere and is easy enough to get around, but big enough for two people to sleep in it. The small kitchen was great as well. We used it quite often. Everything went perfectly from booking to getting the car to drop it off again. It's not cheap, but the service and quality of the car was definitely worth it!

It's my first time renting a campervan anywhere and we had such an amazing trip in Iceland. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We rented a 4x4 thinking that we might go on F roads but we never did

A flawless experience with their camper. Had rented their Happy 2-3pax for 12 days. Got a very nice deal. Their support team were very helpful in answering all our questions. The camper van worked very well. It was well maintained, clean and everything inside worked great. We never had any issues at any point in our ring road trip. Their wiper blades needed replacing, didn't wipe off water very well but other than that, absolutely no faults. Im a bit heavy and was worried if the beds wouldnt be enough but it was perfect good nights sleeps all 12 nights. Will definitely choose them if we visit iceland again. I'm thinking hard to remember any cons but other than the wiper blades, i can't think of any...

We rented a Happy PAX 2-3 camper van with Happy Campers in Iceland and it was absolutely perfect! The Happy Campers team were super helpful and equipped us with all the knowledge, goods, and supplies we required. The worker who was especially helpful was I think named Ljiljana, and she was amazing!!! We were super happy with Happy Campers!!

Just an amazing trip with the right camper van company. Our camper was clean, modern, nicely equipped and was ready for the trip. If you are out there in the middle of Iceland you want to have the right van and company behind you. All the staff we met at Happy Campers were very helpful and made sure we were very well taken care of...they answered the call when our van had a light on and when I left my glasses in the van they ran them out to the airport for me. You get what you pay for and they deliver a great service.

Happy and helpful service, including a shuttle bus from our hotel in Keflavik to the office.
In the office you'll find blankets, chairs, camptables and even food that other customers left there and you can take completely free.
The vehicle worked perfectly and was cozy and well-equipped.
We recommend this company to have the better camping experience in Iceland!

For us, it was the first time exploring a country with a camper van and we're very happy that we did it with Happy Campers. The booking was very easy, the pick-up at Keflavik Airport worked smoothly and Karolin did a wonderful job of showing us all of the campers' details. The Happy2-3pax drove itself wonderfully and caused no problems. The car is very well-equipped, we particularly appreciated the large number of integrated charging stations. The car offers spacious luggage room, although it should be noted that the main storage will not hold two very large bags. The communication with Jon was always very quick and helpful. Thank you to the team for a wonderful time!

Wonderful experience! Happy Campers were very accommodating to our unique needs as international cyclists who needed space for bike assembly and storage of bike boxes. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend, especially for International visitors traveling with bikes.

No nos equivocamos al elegir esta empresa para alquilar nuestra camper, la más básica pero con todo lo necesario para explorar Islandia por 9 días! Nos dieron mantas gratis, gas suficiente (en las otras empresas te lo cobran). El personal es 10/10 con su amabilidad y siempre están pendientes de lo que necesites. Quiero volver a este país y sin duda acudiré a Happy Camper nuevamente

If you want to investigate Iceland in a camper van, Happy Campers is an excellent choice.
From pickup at KEF airport to equipping the camper van, the staff was very helpful. They even have baby seats.....which we needed.
The camper van was clean and operated smoothly. No issues at all. But if you do have problems, they have a 24/7 phone line to call.
Drop off was easy. Just remember to leave the tank full and try to leave the vehicle relatively clean. It was raining the day we returned the camper van so it wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The staff had no problems with it though.
We were pleasantly surprised how well the portable wireless worked. Awesome being connected while exploring the island.
Initial booking and email communications was great.
Nikola answered promptly.....sometimes within 10 minutes.....just remember the time difference.
And when picking up the vehicle, the fella (unfortunately we can't remember his name) we mostly dealt with was very thorough and gave a great rundown on the operation and features of the camper van.
Our family highly recommends Happy Campers.

Première expérience dans un van...c'était formidable. Happy campers est venue nous récupérer directement à l'aéroport pour nous emmener à l'agence.
Un accueil sympathique, de la documentation sur place, des couvertures.. tout c'est fait dans la simplicité même si notre anglais était limité.
Etat des lieux du véhicule et explications pour l'usage au quotidien ..van propre et conforme au modèle choisi.
Et nous avons pu restituer le van en fin de journée pour en profiter au maximum.. il nous on fait confiance ...un taxi nous a ramené à l'aéroport...en 5 minutes grâce au téléphone affiché par happycampers....n'hésitez pas à faire appel a happy campers et en arrivant profiter des petites choses laissés par les autres voyageurs...ça fait quelques économies de courses...
Quelques ustensiles de cuisine en plus complèteraient l'équipement...bols pour le petit déjeuner et une casserole en plus et quelques sacs poubelle.
La taille de la glacière était super ...de quoi stocker plusieurs jours de repas ...merci pour votre accueil

Touring the Ring Road with a Happy Camper has been a very good experience. Everything very easy and practical with them. Honest company with customers. The campervan is comfortable and well equipped. I highly, highly recommend getting gravel road insurance as you can be overtaken by 4x4s and have stones thrown up too easily damaging the windows or lights, and be careful when opening your doors if it's windy as you can hit cars or your own doors jump off the axis. Apart from these precautions and the fact that the campsites in Iceland are a bit fair in general, the camper option is the best for Iceland. Campsites and picnic areas at the end of the world with incredible landscapes, peace and freedom.

My friend and I rented a small camper van for 5 nights. We were picked up from the airport, the check-in to get our van was quick and very well explained, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! They also told us right away the best way to return the van for our early departure at the end of our stay. The van was in good condition, had everything we needed for our trip. I strongly recommend Happy Campers and I’m looking forward to another trip with them in the future!

We rented a 3 person van for the two of us. It was plenty of room, but I would not like to go smaller. The van worked well. All systems functioned as expected. We had some issues with a flat tire, but Happy Camper stepped up to resolve the issues. Something that I really appreciate. I would recommend this company as a way to see Iceland.

I'd like too mention Karolina from customer service team. She went above and beyond showing us all van's details, answering our questions and finally driving us in shuttle to the airport.

Super easy process to pick up and drop off van. Only issue we had was we didn't the right type of cord to connect our phone to the car for using the GPS, so we had to buy one - would be helpful if they would specify this ahead of time.

The happy camper van was just what we needed to make our trip extremely flexible and allow us to go where and when we wanted. It was the perfect home for 2 weeks and had everything we needed. We were comfortable, warm, and cozy no matter the weather.

We were very happy with our experience! They picked us up from the airport, were very nice and helpful, and the van we rented was really well set up. I highly recommend you get the wifi device for your trip and skip the GPS (ours didn't work, but they refunded us). The wifi device has a good signal almost everywhere (except for the occasional remote area). The bedding is comfortable. The heater was necessary in the mornings in early July, but otherwise we were a good temperature the whole time.

아름다운 아이슬란드에서의 9박10일간 소중한 잠자리와 발이 되어준 4x4 5인승 크래프트 캠핑카는 매우 우수하였습니다. F-도로 어디든 갈수 있었으며, 여러개의 강을 건널수 있었습니다. 생각보다 내장된 배터리가 훌륭하였고, 여러개 가져간 Gas는 여러번의 식사를 준비하였지만, 한개만 사용하였습니다. 제공 받은 WIFI는 매우 유용했습니다.
Tip 캠핑을 떠나기전 마트에 가기전에 이곳에 먼저와서 앞전 캠퍼들이 두고간 음식과 식용류등 다양한 도움을 먼저 받고서 쇼핑을 나중에 하세요. 다음에도 선택은 해피캠퍼스 일것입니다.

Could not be happier with Happy Camper. No problems with pickup and drop off. Vehicle was is perfect condition. Our heater wasn’t working correctly but Bart arranged to have it fixed immediately and gave us multiple options depending on what worked for best for us. I will definitely be using Happy Campers for our next trip back to Iceland.

4*4 transporters are fantastic. Perfect for a long Iceland road trip on ring road and F-roads for two people. Cozy, warm, well designed kitchenette, bedding and overnight heating system. On call support and availability during the trip is also good.
