Simple and uncomplicated service
We are very satisfied with the entire car rental process. The pick-up and drop-off went smoothly. We would particularly like to highlight Marina - she was always friendly and helpful on both occasions. We had a small problem at the pick-up and she was able to help us quickly and professionally. If you are in Iceland and are planning to take a Campervan (which you must to experience Iceland fully), HappyCampers is the one. Jon and his team played a big part in making our Iceland trip memorable. We rented Happy 2 for 6 days in March and the entire process from start to finish was buttery smooth. The staff were extremely helpful, the pick up from airport worked great. They offer more than they even advertise - like you can pick up a frisbee, skipping rope, and books while picking up the campervan. We were explained everything in detail about do’s and don’t’s of driving in Iceland, emergency numbers and things to do. Would 100% recommend them and would definitely rent from Happy Campers again whenever in Iceland.

Had an amazing time in Iceland and was only possible thanks to Happy Campers. Customer service was excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful for our first road trip around the ring road. Our Happy1 was comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week around the beautiful country. We encountered some troubling road conditions but the studded tires on our van saved us from issues. Would use Happy Campers in a few years when we return for a different season. Takk Fyrir!

This was one of the best deals during our trip to Iceland, and would definitely recommend Happy Campers for anyone traveling around the country. It allowed us to visit places at our own pace, and was easily converted to our sleeping area for the night. The van came with heating, water, and outlets. Would love to rent from them again.

We had the best ten days travelling around Iceland with our Happy Camper van. The airport shuttle was great, even after I forgot to send our flight details (oops) they still accommodated us. The van itself was very comfortable and easy to drive, especially as I was a bit nervous having not driven such a large vehicle before. The set up was also nice and simple, and Marina explained everything to us really well. I didn't want to leave and would've happily lived in the van in Iceland forever.

Me and My Partner would Thoroughly recommend using Happy camper to Van around Iceland! Everything was made so easy, The airport transfers were quick easy and convenient , Special shout out to Marta who gave us both our transfers, you were so welcoming and kind and we appriciated your recommendations for the stay!
The vans facility’s were perfect for our week long trip, heating and water was great and just had an all around comfortable feel about it.
Our favourite part about our trip was seeing the Gulfoss waterfall and doing a snowmobiling excursion from there! This is aswell as playing scrabble in the van and waking up with amazing views.
The happy campers guid and website helped us find all of our campsites through the trip, it was quick and easy to use and we could access this anywhere due to the vans WiFI!
A Massive Thank You to All at the Happy campers team for making this trip so special, we are already looking at returning and using the services again!

We rented a camper through the Happy Campers! It was our first time in Iceland and we are not disappointed by renting a camper through this company, as location is very close to the airport and employers meet you in the airport and drive to the pickup point! We had a nice lady Marina who met us. She answered all the questions, explained everything, really pleasant woman.
The camper itself was nice, but we went for older option (which maybe was not the best choice). But it had everything we needed and some extras you can rent there!
Even though camping vacation is not for us, we enjoyed the service and care they provided!

We had a very pleasant experience with Happy Campers! Munch was helpful upon arrival and drop off. We had everything we needed and appreciated the 24 hour service! We enjoyed making meals in the van and slept comfortably as well. Great transportation for our adventure!

Happy Campers are truly one of the best ways to travel Iceland! Munch was very helpful in getting us all set up with our camper van the first day. We called when we had questions and everytime the staff was friendly and quick to answer. And when we dropped off the van early (through no fault of Happy Camper, we were just looking to stay closer to Reykjavík for the remainder of our trip) I needed help knowing where to go exactly for eyelash glue and nail glue, Marta was kind enough to go out of her way to tell me where I could find the items I needed on such short notice. And it was her first day on top of that! Our adventures took us as far north as Hólmavík & as south as vík. And I was over the moon having the opportunity to utilize my preexisting Icelandic skills. All around Happy Campers has great customer service! Can't wait to come back.

We rented a 4x4 happy campers van since the weather can be bad atound this time. We anticipated having flight delays so we booked to be picked up from the airport around 9:15 but we got to Keflavik on time. We called the office at 8am and they gladly added us to the 8:15 first pickup. The driver (didn't get his name) was very nice and helpful. When we got to the office, Dawid helped us with setting us up with our van. He was very friendly and he went through everything with us and answered all our questions happily. He also gladly took our picture with the van. The camper van had everything we needed (blankets, pillows, portable stove, cooking utensils, plates, cutleries, water for washing and dish soap). If you get the happiest bundle you can get portable wifi (or any other extras you need) as part of the package so pretty concenient.
We felt safe driving it around iceland even when the road got snow covered on our way back to the city one day. The van had a lot of space and we slept great in the van. It had battery operated heater so we weren't cold at night (it gets colder at night especialy in March). When we returned the van, the process was smooth (Marina was very friendly too) and Marta dropped us off to the airport. She asked how our trip was and recommended going back around June time to see more flora. We are definitely going back to iceland again and will be renting from happy campers again. Highly recommended
(the van has pretty distinct design so we wave hi to anyone with happy camper vans we pass by )

Had an amazing experience with Happy Campers from start to finish! The customer service was top-notch: friendly, dedicated, and personalized.
Our 4x4 3pax camper was super comfy to drive, cook, and sleep in. Even in the windy Eastfjords, it held up great and felt super safe.
We were surprised by how spacious and well-designed it was, both practically and aesthetically. Loved seeing other Happy Campers on the road, we even made a friend thanks to it!
Returning the van honestly felt like saying goodbye to a travel buddy. Hope we meet again someday! :D

Super contentos con happy campers, alquilamos un modelo medio ya que teníamos que hacer noche en campings no necesitábamos ducha y preferimos un modelo pequeño. Es la empresa mas económica pero no tiene nada que ver ya que las campers están super bien cuidadas y la atención increíble.
A parte te hacen descuento si visitas una cantidad de puntos de Islandia, tienen una pequeña zona de útiles que les ha sobrado a los anteriores campistas y que puedes coger (papel cocina, sal, aceite…) nos sorprendió muy grata mente y super contentos!

La camper estaba muy limpia, además nos encantó que en el local para recoger y devolver las campers tengan una zona con los productos que no has podido terminar o se han quedado sin abrir, ya que así no se desperdicia tanto de los viajes en camper. Escogimos una camper pequeña, ya que las noches las pasamos en campings y fue una decisión genial, no pasamos nada de frío gracias a la calefacción!

We had an amazing 16 Day trip with our Happy 4x4 Camper. The service provided by the team (especially Benjamin) was fantastic they went over and beyond our expectations. Even when we had accidentally left out waterproof jackets in the van at checkout they kindly dropped them to our hotel as we had an early flight the following morning. Would highly recommend them to anyone!!! Thanks again, we’ll be back!
