Could not be happier with Happy Camper. No problems with pickup and drop off. Vehicle was is perfect condition. Our heater wasn’t working correctly but Bart arranged to have it fixed immediately and gave us multiple options depending on what worked for best for us. I will definitely be using Happy Campers for our next trip back to Iceland.

4*4 transporters are fantastic. Perfect for a long Iceland road trip on ring road and F-roads for two people. Cozy, warm, well designed kitchenette, bedding and overnight heating system. On call support and availability during the trip is also good.

Wonderful journey made unique by the use of the camper with which to optimize each stage. We rented a Nissan, as clearly indicated, older than others but absolutely functional in every way and with an excellent price. We fell in love with Iceland but also with our camper. The Happy camper staff was efficient at all stages and especially during the return of the vehicle. For us it's see you next year for a rental of a 4x4 to travel around the interior of the country. Highly recommended. Thank you all.

From start to finish the Happy Campers experience was fantastic. A warm welcome on arrival at the airport where we were driven to the office and from then was given a thorough briefing on the van. We spend nearly 1900kms living, sleeping and eating in the van and once used to the lifestyle were really happy. We had the 4x4XL so were able to tackle the F roads quite nicely. On returning the van we were then given a lift to our hotel. So all in all, a great holiday to thank you Happy Campers!

Great experience, lots of good information provided by the employees before we set off on our two-week trip, and drop-off of the van was really simple. We purchased the Happiest Bundle and it was really good knowing that we had all of that extra insurance.

We loved our experience with Happy Campers! Great customer service and fast response times. Camping in one of their happy vans was the perfect way to see Iceland. Their van made our vacation a beautiful and easy adventure.
Special thanks to Ljiljana and Munch who checked us in and out. Also, we had the same driver to and from the airport. Her picture isn’t on the website, (please look at our departure time). She played fun music and told funny stories, even though her allergies were giving her grief at 8AM.

My husband and I really enjoyed our Iceland Ring Road adventure traveling in the 2-3 person Happy Campervan!!! We were very impressed by how well outfitted the campervan was and the ease and comfort of driving it.
Our pickup shuttle at the airport was perfect for the start of our adventure. The staff were very polite and helpful in explaining how everything worked before we headed out for our great Icelandic adventure:-) Thanks to everyone!

Loved driving around Iceland with the Happy Camper van for 9 days. Camper was clean, additional supplies worked great. Connecting with initial pick up from the airport was slightly delayed but check in once at the office was amazing and check out was a breeze. Van ran wonderful thru the rain, fog, dirt roads… between the happy camper staff and the Iceland camping facebook groups, we felt super prepared. Happy camper staff replied to emails right away. Great experience.

We can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our Happy Campers XL camper van to explore beautiful Iceland. Munch met us at the airport with a considerable amount of patience as our arrival was delayed. He got us back to Happy Camper HQ and spent a lot of time getting us checked in and made sure we had important information, apps, and all the van’s systems organized. He was great!
Exploring Iceland on our own, without a tight schedule was perfect for the camper van. We were easily able to stop whenever and wherever we wanted.
The camper was well equipped and in great order. We slept comfortably each night and only used the heater twice. Even though we had an XL camper it was easy to drive, park, and navigate. The wifi was a serious bonus in looking up weather, routes, and sights.
You really have a smooth system and we look forward to coming back.

Booked a Happy 1 Auto for 1 week in June 2024 and had a positive experience with this company. The pricing is very reasonable for Iceland and they provide everything you need including a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can even bring on hikes (a game-changer), bedding with ample linen and blankets, cooking utensils and equipment, petrol discounts, campsite maps and resources, and included transport to and from the airport. A little touch we also liked was the complimentary coffee at their office and the unused non-perishable food left behind by other guests for new guests to grab. We had no issues with the car. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Freundlicher Empfang am Flughafen mit Shuttle zum Office. Der Camper war mit allem ausgestattet, wie beschrieben. Übergabe ging sehr schnell und war unkompliziert. Abgabe war ebenso sehr schnell erledigt.

We booked with Happy Campers because they are a local family owned business. We learned about them from Iceland with a view/Jeanie. The price, van options, and reviews were great. The camper van was really nice for our trip and the check in and drop off were easy with no problems at all. I highly recommend Happy Campers if you are looking to rent a camper van for your Iceland Trip.

We used Happy Campers in February for 10 days in Iceland. The price was by far the cheapest compared to other companies. The process was simple. The van we rented came with everything we needed including a heater for during the nights and a small kitchen. It got us everywhere we needed to go along the ring road. It also had a GPS and Touchscreen that you could use to build an itinerary and keep an eye on road closures and aurora indicators. Staff were friendly and also dropped us to the airport. Only thing we didn’t expect was a €600 deposit if booked using a debit card. No issues getting it back but we just didn’t see it on the website at first. Would recommend

I rented a van for 2 weeks and I was particularly satisfied with the services of Happy Campers. I encountered one or two problems along the way and the team resolved them with responsiveness and efficiency. The van was very comfortable and proved ideal for touring the country! (Especially for eating indoors when wind or rain made outdoor dining complex compared to other types of van)

So many great things to say about Happy Campers. Airport pick-up and drop off were quick and easy. The van worked well and was more comfortable than expected. My son left his headphones behind in the van and a staff member met us at the airport the next day to deliver them. Outstanding customer service and highly recommended.

We rented the 2pax for a 10 day trip around ring road. The van was in very good condition and more than comfortable for the two of us. Heating, fridge, cook stove, and storage all made it very comfortable and easy. We cooked most meals in the camper. Campsites are easy to find and well provisioned. Happy Campers provides a nice gear back with everything you might need and staff is very friendly and helpful. It was an awesome trip!
