Had an amazing time in Iceland, even during Covid-19. Rented a campervan for 23 days and made the whole roadtrip. Thanks to Happy Campers with the excellent service and a great campervan. Highly recommended!!!!

Renting a Happy 4X4 for our winter Ring Road trip was the highlight of our Icelandic experience! It was the first time we travelled in a Camper Van and it was far more amazing than we expected. The Van was so cozy, with a cute little sink, a hob, a fridge, drawers, we had basically everything we needed inside and the bed was EXTREMELY confortable and easy to make. But the best part was THE HEATER in the back of the car. Even though we travelled in December and the weather was pretty cold and windy, inside the Camper Van was so warm, we didn't even need the sleeping bags at night. It was the best travel experience ever and we've made memories to last for a lifetime, thanx to HAPPY CAMPERS! Can't wait to do this again!

Experiencia única trabajando con Happy Campers. A la llegada a sus oficinas me quedé impresionado por lo agradables que fueron conmigo y por lo bien organizado que lo tenían todo. Fueron 14 días brutales en los que gracias a la transporter 4x4 pude recorrer el norte más los Westfjords sin ningún problema. Cada noche, por mucho que estuviésemos en medio de la nada a -3º nos encontrábamos en una burbuja, con calefacción,wifi y cama... Muy recomendable!

I had the pleasure of traveling for 15 days with Happy Campers 4x4 model! The truth is that the treatment was unbeatable, super friendly staff!
The van is really comfortable for all types of trips, the bed is very easy to assemble and thanks to its 4 drawers you can organize everything perfectly.
Another very favorable point for Happy Campers is the heating, you can have it on all night without any problem. They were great days, without a doubt if I return to Iceland I will enjoy it again with the Happy 4x4!

What an experience. Jon was just awesome with us and the campervan has everything to make your trip in Iceland more than perfect. We took the 4x4 and it worth it because many roads are closed for you if you don’t take it so we we’re able to see wonderful places.
I tried other companies and it was not the same experience.
I highly recommend Happy Campers and their team.

Honest and down to earth family business. I rented a small van for three weeks to tour around Iceland, and the guys were super helpful and quick to respond when ever there were any issues, big or small. They were very forthcoming and friendly, and they're definitely not the kind of company who milks you for a scratch! The car itself was very new and in great condition. Super recommend them and look forward to my next trip in one of their vans! Thanks guys! :)

Ég leigði ódýrasta bílinn í viku í sumar og hélt á vit ævintýranna með dóttur minni. Bíllinn var dálítið basic en þó fylgdi allt sem þörf var á. Mjög skemmtilegur ferðamáti og gott viðmót starfsfólks sem tryggir að ég ætla að gera þetta aftur, vel samt aðeins stærri bíl næst.

We rented a happy 3 ex camper. Free upgrade to happy 3. Overall I highly recommend Happy Campers. You might find a slightly cheaper option but the service and communication they provide is great! Free pick-up and drop-off from and to the airport. Our camper was equipped with everything we needed. We travelled with our 1.5 year old child, good to know that a travel cot just fits between the lower bed and the 'kitchen' (however HC does not rent this out). We used the heater for 2 hours each evening and 2 hours each morning, which was enough to have a comfortable night. The bed is maybe a little bit hard but we got used to it and we had perfect nights! So: we had a wonderful experience, no doubt you're in good hands :)

I did a week long trip with my family and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
We got the biggest camper but it was easy and comfortable to drive, nice and cosy for the passengers and with good sleeping space for the four of us.
The staff was super helpful and knowledgable. They walked us through how everything works, and had some advice about which roads where and where not suitable for this camper.
This was a perfect way to experience Iceland, being able to adjust the travel plans as you go and follow the best weather.

This is hands down our favorite way to experience Iceland! Such an incredible family owned company with exceptional customer service.
The first time we travelled to Iceland was in March and we drove a Happy 3 with studded tires. It was awesome. The ceilings are tall enough so you can stand up and the heater in the cabin keeps it constantly cozy. With just two of us we stored all of our luggage and gear "upstairs" and then slept and lived "downstairs." :)
Our second tour we took the Happy 4X4. This thing is a beast! We took it to the Westfjords and around the entire ring road and felt extremely safe the entire time. We loved the Winter Kit with sleeping bags and free wifi so we could check the weather and road status and then of course turn it off and enjoy the beauty that is Iceland.

Awesome company and awesome campers! My husband and I rented the Happy 1 for a week. The bed was super comfortable and plenty of linens provided as well as plenty of fuel for cooking, we only used 1.5 canisters. The seats are very comfy for driving and we loved the storage over head the drivers seats. Thank you for all of the stuff available in the free shelf in the office as well as all the travel books! We will definitely return as well as send all of our friends!

In my 8 trip to Iceland I opted to rent a van. It was the best thing I did.
It gave me total freedom to travel. I didn't have to worry about hotel bookings.
It is a wonderful experience, I slept next to skogafoos, Vestrahorn and Kirkjufell mountain.
For 4 days I rented the Happy 4x4 to go to the highlands and is a excelent option to travel on the F Roads.
The best option to enjoy the trip and feel closer to nature.

Highly recommend this company, they are very professional from the moment you enter the building until you have dropped off the car. They provide excellent cars with convenient design which will make camping super easy! Driving around Iceland in one of those camper vans is an experience everyone should have, be a happy camper and try it out!

Mæli eindregið með þessu fjölskyldufyrirtæki. Frábærar móttökur þegar maður mætir að sækja bílinn, starfsfólkið hjálplegt og undirbýr mann vel fyrir veginn og svo eru bílarnir virkilega vel hannaðir og hentugir fyrir útilegu. Ég get varla farið aftur yfir í tjaldið.
