I decided to check this program out after seeing a few of Max's videos on YouTube. They were very solid, not just pandering or bandwagon videos. I eventually ran across the 6-week challenge and decided to give it a shot.

In short, the program is structured in 3 phases, with the changes being primarily in the area of nutrition, but the workouts change in intensity as well. The nutrition approach is largely a restricted calorie approach with healthy food options and caution with your macro nutrient combinations...don't eat your fats and carbs together.
I quite enjoyed the program. I found it easy to understand and found the right rhythm for my life style and food choices. I stuck with the same basic meals day in and day out. I weighed my food with a scale to make sure I knew the portion sizes. I tracked my calories the entire time on My Fitness Pal. I did allow a deviation in the area of vegetables. I ate extra vegetable portions with my meals to make them a little more filling (broccoli, spinach, asparagus, etc.). Other than that, I stuck to the plan.
I started at 204.8 lbs and finished at 183.2 lbs. I know there was some water weight in there, particularly on the last week. However, I beat the challenge and am happy with the results.
If you are interested in a program that will deliver results, you are disciplined enough to stick to something and you are motivated to make a change, I'd recommend you give it a try. I've giving it a 4 out of 5 stars. There were a few minor things I'd like to see improved (supplement recommendations/approach), but nothing that would stop me from recommending or that would affect the program overall. You should try it.
