If you’ve connected your Google account but don’t see your Google Business Profile (GBP) locations in EmbedSocial, don’t worry — this usually happens because of missing permissions or the wrong Google account being connected.
🔍 Common Reasons Why Locations Don’t Appear
There are two main reasons why your Google locations might not show up after connecting your account:
You’re signed in with the wrong Google account
Make sure you connect the Google account that manages your verified Google Business Profile (GBP).Not all permissions were granted during the connection process
When connecting your account, you must allow EmbedSocial to “See, edit, create and delete your Google business listings” — this is what allows the platform to display your locations:
✅ How to Fix the Issue
Here’s how you can refresh your connection and fix missing locations:
Step 1: Go to 'Manage accounts'
Open this link:
👉 https://embedsocial.com/admin/socialfeed_settings
Step 2: Reconnect Your Google Account
Click on 'Add new account' and connect or re-connect your Google account:
Note: if this is a different account from the one you connected previously, make sure to check the box that says:
“See, edit, create, and delete your Google business listings.”
Step 3: Confirm That Your Locations Are Displayed
Once reconnected, your verified Google locations should appear automatically in your EmbedSocial account.
If you still see “No locations found”, double-check that:
The Google account you connected is the manages the GBP.
