EmbedSocial can help you go beyond just embedding your own Threads posts — you can also track mentions and keywords across Threads
Note: Threads doesn't support hashtags, so tracking is based on @mentions and keyword matches instead. This means you can:
Display the matching posts as a live widget on your website
Monitor the same collected posts in a dashboard for social listening — spotting brand mentions, industry trends, or campaign performance, even when people don't tag your account directly.

TL;DR – Quick guide
Create an account on EmbedFeed
In 'Sources,' choose Threads and select the source type — Mentions or Keywords
Mentions: connect your Threads account so mentions of it are pulled automatically.
Keywords: connect your Threads account and enter the keyword or brand name you want to track
Display the collected posts in a widget, monitor them in the Posts tab for social listening, or generate reports through the EmbedSocial MCP in Claude or ChatGPT
That's it! For more details on how to achieve this, follow the steps below.
Part 1: Set up mention/keyword tracking
Step 1: Navigate to 'Sources' and click on 'Threads.'
Step 2: Choose the source type: Mentions or Keywords.
Step 3: If you selected Mentions — connect your Threads account and provide the required permissions. Posts that mention your account will be pulled automatically.
Step 4: If you selected Keywords — connect your Threads account and provide the required permissions. Enter the keyword or brand name you want to track. For example, your brand name, a campaign name, a product nickname, or an industry term.
Part 2: Display the tracked posts on your website
Step 5: Choose a template for your widget, or start from scratch, and customize the appearance in the widget editor.
Step 6: To get the widget code, click the 'Embed' tab and copy the code.
Step 7: Paste the code into your website editor.
That's it! Posts matching your keyword or mentioning your account will now appear automatically on your website, and update as new matching posts come in.
Part 3: Use the same data for social listening
Beyond displaying posts, the same collected content can be used to monitor rather than just showcase them:
Step 9: Head to the 'Posts' tab to monitor every collected post in one place, you can also filter the content
Step 10: Head to the 'Insights' tab to view analytics on the collected content, including top authors, content by type, sentiment analysis and most used keywords.
Step 11: For more detailed and personalized analytics beyond what's in Insights, connect the EmbedSocial MCP to Claude or ChatGPT — this lets you ask natural-language questions about your collected Threads mentions/keywords and generate custom reports on demand.
