In this tutorial, we will show you how to pin and make posts in the feed to display by defined order by specifying priority numbers.

How to pin a post?

A pin is an option that provides you with full control over which posts should display first no matter what are the other ordering settings in the Feed widget.

To pin a post just follow the steps below.

  1. Open one of your Feed widgets

  2. Click on the Order tab

  3. In the table below the Actions, column click Pin next to the post you want to display first

  4. You can choose and add priority also, for the Pinned posts

Now the pinned posts will be always first in your feed widget, not getting into consideration other ordering settings that you have specified in the Settings options.

How to order posts by priority?

If you want to have full control of the order of the posts that are displayed in your feed, you can use the Priority option from step 4 above, and add order numbers to the posts. With this option, you can set up to 20 posts to display in the order by priority.

Here is how to make a custom order of the posts in your Feed widget:

  1. Open one of your Feed widgets

  2. Click on the Order tab

  3. In the actions column, pin the posts and set the priority number for each post

For example, you can add from 1 to 20 priority numbers for the posts you want to display as the first 20 in the specified order in the feed widget.

    That's it!
