In this tutorial, we will show you how to do just that, to effectively manage the rights to User-Generated Content (UGC) from Instagram Hashtag posts! Let's get started!

If you still don't have an EmbedFeed account, click to start a 7-day trial.

TL;DR - Quick guide:

  1. Create an account on EmbedFeed

  2. Connect on the 'Social Accounts' tab the Facebook account that is managing the Facebook page which is connected with your Instagram account

  3. Go to the 'Sources' tab and add the desired hashtag as an Instagram hashtag source.

  4. Navigate to the 'All posts' tab

Track and approve requests

After requesting rights for specific posts inside the 'Rights management' tab you will be able to monitor each post if it is approved or not. If the owner of the post, responds positively, indicating their agreement, we track the request in EmbedSocial, and the status of the request is changed from "Pending" to "Approved."

Tracking the requests

Once the post is approved, you can show it on your widget and display the widget on your website.

Display the approved posts on your widget

Now you can create a widget from your added hashtag and inside the widget navigate to the 'Filter' panel. Enable the option "Only posts that have approved rights" to display only the approved posts in your widget.

Display only approved posts
