How to Embed YouTube Shorts on Your Website

Enhance your website's engagement by showcasing your YouTube Shorts in a beautiful, automated widget. This guide will walk you through connecting your content and generating an embed code in just a few minutes.

1. Find Your YouTube Shorts Links

Step 1: Navigate to the official channel and switch to the Shorts tab

Once you are on the wanted channel homepage, locate the horizontal navigation menu below the channel banner. Click on the tab labeled "Shorts" to filter the short-form videos.

Step 2: Copy the URL

The format should be: https://www.youtube.com/@[BrandName]/shorts

2. Add a YouTube Shorts source and embed it as a widget

To do this, please login to your EmbedSocial account and follow the steps below.

If you still don't have an EmbedSocial account, click to start a 7-day trial.

Step 1: Navigate to Sources

From your main dashboard, look at the sidebar on the left and click on 'Sources'. This is where you manage the content that your widgets will pull from.

Access the Sources menu from the sidebar.

Step 2: Click on Add a New Source

In the top right corner of the Sources page, click the '+ Add new source' button to begin the connection process.

Click the button to add a new content source.

Step 3: Select Shorts as the Source Type

You will see several options for YouTube content. Select 'Shorts' to ensure your widget is optimized for bite-sized, high-engagement vertical videos.

Choose the Shorts option from the source list.

Step 4: Connect your YouTube Shorts URL

Paste the URL of the YouTube Shorts channel you want to display into the configuration field. Once the URL is entered, click the 'Connect source' button to start syncing your videos.

Paste your URL and click Connect source.

Step 5: Generate the Widget

After the source is connected, look for the 'Next steps' section and click 'Create widget'. This transforms your raw video feed into an embeddable layout.

Select Create widget to continue.

Step 6: Copy the Embed Code

In the widget editor, click the 'Embed' icon on the left sidebar to open the embed panel. Click the 'Copy code' button to save the JavaScript snippet to your clipboard. You can now paste this code into your website's editor.

Copy the code to publish the widget on your site.

That's it!

And all your new shorts will be automatically pulled and displayed on your website.
