How to embed social media feeds in Kentico

Steps and instructions on how you can embed and display your social media feeds on your Kentico website.

You're looking to embed your social media feed on your Kentico website. Here's a simple guide on embedding them with just a few clicks.

If you still don't have an EmbedFeed account, click to start a 7-day trial.

Before we begin, first generate your social media feeds in your EmbedFeed account and get the code.

Here are the steps:

  1. Log in to your EmbedFeed account

  2. Go to Widgets and click on the widget you want to embed

  3. In the widget editor left-hand settings panel, click the Embed tab and click 'Copy code'

Once you have the code, go to your Kentico account.

Embed the social media feeds widget on your Kentico website

Login to your Kentico website. Since Kentico is a large CMS, there are multiple ways and workarounds on how to embed custom code on a page in Kentico.

Here we are sharing one way on how you can embed the widget code, you have from EmbedSocial:

  1. Head over to your Kentico administrator dashboard, and open 'Page'

2. Find and open the page where you want to embed the EmbedSocial widget, in this example we will use the homepage.

3. Find the section of the page where the widget should appear, and click on 'Source'

By clicking on 'Source', you automatically enter an edit mode for that section.

So what you can do is paste the EmbedSocial widget code here, and click on 'Save'

After clicking Save, head over to the homepage. You will notice that the widget has appeared right under the section where you added the code.
