How to display your Instagram Posts and Stories on your website

Learn how to aggregate and embed your Instagram posts and stories to display them on any website.

In this article, you will find the steps to display your Instagram posts and stories on your website.

To get started, first, you will need to log in to your EmbedSocial account.

If you still don't have an EmbedFeed account, click to start a 7-day trial.

Once logged in, follow the steps below to pull your Instagram posts and stories. Please note that Instagram Stories and Posts are pulled through two separate sources.

Pulling Instagram Posts​1.

1. Go to Sources and click on the "Add new source" button at the top right corner.

2. Select Instagram as a source

3. Choose Instagram Business\Personal as a source type. If you pick choose to connect a Business account, you will be asked to connect the Facebook account managing the Instagram account you want to connect.

Click 'Connect with Facebook' and connect the Facebook account that manages a page connected with a business Instagram account. Provide the required permissions:

4. Then pick the desired Instagram account and click on the “next” button.

5. Choose one of our pre-made templates or start creating your widget from scratch.

Pulling Instagram Stories

To pull your Instagram Stories, navigate to the “Sources” section again and click on the "Add new source" button at the top right corner.

  1. Select the Stories option

  2. Pick Stories as a source type, select the account from which you want to generate the Stories, and click on the “Next” button.

And that's it!​

Displaying the Widgets on Your Website

To display the widgets on your website, just copy/paste the top-left code into the body section of your website:

​Please note that once you connect your Facebook and Instagram account only stories from the last 24 hours will get generated into the platform. From this moment on, the system will be able to pull and automatically generate your new stories from your Instagram account and update them on your website.
