In this article, we will show you just that, steps on how to import a Product catalog inside your EmbedSocial account!

Before importing the catalog inside your account, first, check our article in order to make sure that your file is correctly formatted:

How to correctly format Product Feeds

Note: Currently, we don't have a limit on the number of catalogs you can import!

In order to import your catalog as .XML file, you will need to:

1. Navigate to the 'Product Catalog' section and click 'Import .xml file':

2. Paste the .XML link URL, select the locale, and choose the catalog name. Once this is done, click on 'Save and import'

That's it! All of the products will be imported into your EmbedSocial account within a few minutes!

When importing your product catalog to EmbedSocial, you can use the <id> attribute from your Product Feed to identify products. This <id> is a unique identifier that ensures accurate product matching during the import process.

The imported catalogs are automatically updated once daily to ensure your content remains up-to-date and accurate at all times.

You can add the XML code of your product catalog from platforms like Google Merchant Center or soon Shopify.

EmbedSocial currently uses <google_product_category> as the default and sole product category attribute. This ensures a consistent and reliable categorization of products when importing your catalog and using Dynamic Product Flow.
