Introduction to the EmbedSocial GBP Platform

Learn how to connect your listings, manage reviews, and update your business information—all from a single dashboard.

We built this platform to take the headache out of managing your online presence. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by trying to keep all your Google listings consistent, responding to reviews across different locations, or just wishing you had one single place to control everything, you're in the right place.

This guide will walk you through the first few simple steps to get everything connected and running smoothly. Let's dive in!

If you don't have an account at EmbedSocial, you can start your free trial here.

Once you will create your account and start a trial, you can connect your GBP account which manages your listings.

  1. Click on the "Continue with Google" to connect your Google account.

2. A Google sign-in window will pop up. Just choose the account you use to manage your business profiles.

Give Google the 'Okay'. Google will ask for your permission to let EmbedSocial manage your listings. This is a standard and secure step – we need the permissions so we can fetch your reviews and help you post replies or update your info.

3. Select which Google listings you want to connect to EmbedSocial, and click on the button "Done. Add listings"

All done 🎉

You are now inside your EmbedSocial GBP account and you can start managing your listings.

A Quick Tour of the Platform

Now that you're all set up, here’s a quick look at what you can do from the main menu. Think of this as your central command center!

On the left side of the screen, you can see the main menu with all sections through the account.

  • Dashboard: Inside the Dashboard section you will find analytics for your listings. At the top, you can pick a specific listing for which you want to see more details. You can download a report, see the location heath for each listing and what you can improve for it, and the positive and negative reviews.

  • Listings: In the Listings tab you will be able to see all your active listings - connected in EmbedSocial, and All listings that you managed. Here you will also find the "Connect listing" button, in case you want to connect more listings in EmbedSocial.

    You can also see the details of each location when you click on it, and "Lock the updates" to prevent any unauthorised updates or changes. (Here we can also insert a link from the article that will be for this section and feature only)

  • Responses: In the Responses section you will find all reviews which are waiting for response, and all reviews on which you have already responded. There you can also set an Automation for review replies and customize the AI Agent so he can reply to your reviews with more personalised replies based on your customisations.

  • Bulk Edit: In this section you can find the option to select your desired listings and make edits in bulk. You can also schedule the edits for the business hours, see the "suggested edits" from your visitors and Accept/Decline them.

  • Publishing: Inside this section you will be able to find the posts that you have published, publish and schedule new posts for your listings.

  • Edits Log: In the Edits log, you will be able to find all edits that has been done to your listings, the edits that are suggested from your visitors and waiting to be approved, the declined edits and the accepted edits.

  • Reports: Here you can download the reports to see the GBP Performance, Reviews Metrics and export your reviews if needed. You can download the reports into a CSV or PDF file. There is an option to select the time period for which you want to generate a report, pick the listings and the metrics you want to have inside the reports.

  • SEO: In the SEO section you can find more insights about the keywords rank for your website. For example, you can see a few keywords, see on which place you rank when someone search that specific keyword on Google, how many Search Views you had and which Competitors are shown on Google when that keyword is being searched.

    Using this feature you can see which keywords yous visitors uses the most when they found your business, which competitors use the same keywords and how you rank for them.

That's it! Now you can dive in to the platform and explore all amazing features out there.
