How to Generate and Use Review Reports?

A step-by-step guide to creating downloadable reports and understanding the key metrics about your customer reviews.

Understanding the trends and overall sentiment of your customer reviews is key to improving your business. Our Review Reports tool allows you to consolidate all this valuable data into a professional, easy-to-read document that you can analyze or share.

This guide will show you how to generate a report and what the data inside it means.

Our platform allows you to generate three different types of reports. Each report can be downloaded as either a visual PDF with charts or a CSV file for your raw data.

How to generate a report

  1. Open the Report section on your left side menu

  2. Pick the report type you want

  3. Select the preferred format

  4. Pick the date range for which you want to generate a report

  5. Pick the desired listing(s)

  6. Click "Download report"

Report types explained

  1. GBP performance report

    This report gives you a high-level overview of how customers are finding and interacting with your Google Business Profile. It answers key questions like "How are people finding me?" and "What actions are they taking?".


    The metrics this report contain are:

    - Business Name

    - Address

    - Google Maps - Desktop

    - Google Maps - Mobile

    - Google Search - Desktop

    - Google Search - Mobile

    - Messages

    - Directions

    - Calls

    - Website Clicks

    - Bookings

    - Food Orders

    - Food Menu Clicks

    - Number of Published Posts

    - Average Posting Time (days)

    - Average Review Response Time (hours)

    - Review Response Percentage

  2. Review Metrics Report

    This report focuses specifically on the performance and analytics of your customer reviews. It helps you understand customer sentiment, track your overall rating, and monitor how your team engages with feedback.

    The report files contain:

    • Listing Name: The name of the Google Business Profile location.

    • 5 Star Reviews / 4 Star Reviews / etc.: The total count of reviews received for each specific star rating.

    • Positive Reviews: The total number of positive reviews (typically 4 and 5 stars).

    • Neutral Reviews: The total number of neutral reviews (typically 3 stars).

    • Negative Reviews: The total number of negative reviews (typically 1 and 2 stars).

    • Total Reviews: The sum of all reviews received in the selected time period.

    • Number of Replies: Shows how many of the new reviews your team has replied to.

    • Average Rating: The mathematical average star rating for the reviews received in this period.

    • Latest Review On: The date on which you received your most recent review.
