Google Posts are a great way to share timely updates, events, and offers directly on your Google Business Profile, keeping your customers informed and engaged. Our platform makes it easy to manage your posts for all your locations from one place.

This guide will show you how to publish a post immediately and how to schedule one for the future.

To begin, navigate to the 'Publishing' section from the left-side menu. Inside this section you have a few options for post types: Add updates, Create offer or Create event. You can pick one of them or just click on the "New post" button and you can select the type after.

  1. Open the "Publishing" section

  2. Click on "New post" button

  3. Choose the listing(s) on which you want to publish this post, and click "Next"

  4. Pick your post type

  5. Add description to your post

  6. Upload an image

  7. Customise the button if you want any

  8. Click "Next"

  9. Click "Publish now" if you want to publish the post immediately, or if you want to schedule the post, click on "Schedule for later"

  10. If you schedule the post, just pick the desired time and click on "Schedule post"

As you are customising your post, on the right side you can see a prototype of how the post will look.

Save posts as Draft

If your post is not finished yet, and want to proceed later, you will also see an option to 'Save as Draft'. Click this if you are not ready to publish and want to save your work to finish later.

All drafts and published posts are shown in the "Publishing" section.

If you want to proceed editing a post that was saved as draft, just

  1. Open the "Publishing" section

  2. Click on the post

  3. Click on "Edit post"

Automatically Delete Old Posts

You can also set your posts to be automatically deleted after a certain time. When you create a new post, before you schedule it, you also have an option 'Set an expiration date'. This is great for keeping your profile clean by removing old offers or past events automatically.

That's it! 🎉 Now you're ready to save time by scheduling posts in advance and keeping your content perfectly organized.
