How to embed LinkedIn mentions on your website

Step-by-step guide to connecting LinkedIn mentions as a source and displaying them in your EmbedSocial widget

Written by Simona

EmbedSocial now lets you collect and display LinkedIn mentions — posts where your LinkedIn page is mentioned — directly in your widgets. This brings authentic social proof from your professional network onto your website.

LinkedIn mentions is a new source sub-type that sits under your connected LinkedIn account source, so you can add it using the same connection flow you already use for your LinkedIn feed.

LinkedIn mentions are available on the Pro Plus plan and above.

TL;DR - Quick guide:

  1. Go to Sources and choose LinkedIn

  2. Connect (or select) the LinkedIn account you manage

  3. Choose the Mentions source sub-type

  4. Display your LinkedIn mentions in your widget

That's it! For more details, follow the steps below.

Connect LinkedIn mentions as a source

Step 1: Navigate to Sources and click on LinkedIn.

Step 2: Connect the LinkedIn account you manage and provide the required permissions. If you have already connected your LinkedIn account for your feed, you can reuse the same connection.

Step 3: Select the Mentions source sub-type for the page you want to track.

Step 4: Choose a template for your widget or start from scratch, customize it in the editor, and click Save.

Step 5: Open the Embed tab, copy the code, and paste it into your website editor.

Note: When a source is created, we pull 50 mentioned posts from the Pull Organizational Notifications API.

This API only returns notifications from the last 60 days so if you have mentioned posts older than 60 days we won't be able to pull themI

Media collected per source follows your plan's standard Media per Source limits.
