The SEO section of our platform provides powerful tools to help you understand and improve your visibility in local search results. By monitoring your performance, you can make informed decisions to outrank your competition.

This guide will walk you through each of the three main SEO features we have: Top Keywords, Local Search Rank, and Local Citations. Once you open the SEO section on the left side menu, you will be able to select your desired listing.

1. Top Keywords: How are people finding you on Google right now?

This section automatically shows you the top keywords your Google Business Profile is currently ranking for in search results, giving you a baseline of your current performance. The table provides the following insights:

  • Keyword: For which keyword you are seeing analytics

  • Ranking: Your average position in the Google search results for that keyword.

  • Search Views: The number of times your business appeared in searches for this term.

  • Competitors: See which local businesses are also going after this keyword and how they rank compared to you—so you know exactly who you need to beat.

2. Local Search Rank & Heatmap

This tool allows you to perform on-demand checks for any specific keyword you want to target.

You can type any keyword and compare how your competitors rank and see the keyword rank:

Another feature here is the Position Map, or Heatmap. Search rankings can change based on the searcher's physical location, and the heatmap visualizes this for you.

How to use the Heatmap:

  1. Enter one or more keywords you want to rank for and generate the map. The map will display a grid of pins over your local area.

  2. Analyze the results. Each pin is color-coded to represent your search ranking when a search is performed from that specific geographic point. For example, a green pin might mean you are in the top 3, while a red pin means you are ranked 11+.

This helps you identify areas where your SEO is strong and where you have opportunities to improve.

3. Local Citations: Keep Your Business Info Consistent

Local citations are mentions of your business's Name, Address, and Phone number (NAP) on major online platforms. Our tool automatically checks your information on key directories like Apple Maps, Yelp, and Bing to see if it matches your official Google Business Profile.

Keeping this information consistent everywhere is a critical factor for improving your local SEO and building trust with search engines.

The tool will display a table showing the status of your business information on each platform:

  • Correct: Your listing was found and the information matches your Google profile.

  • Mismatch: We found a listing, but some details like the address or phone number are incorrect. The mismatched data will be highlighted.

  • Not Found: We could not find a listing for your business on that platform.

Your goal is to fix any Mismatch or Not Found statuses by visiting those platforms and updating your information manually.

What if the wrong business is shown?

Sometimes, our automatic check might find a similarly named business that isn't yours. If you see a result that doesn't belong to your business, use the 'Not your business?' button, and add the correct link from your business on the specific directory.

  1. Click on 'Not your business?' next to the incorrect listing.

  2. A field will appear for you to paste the correct URL of your business profile from that specific site (e.g., the URL to your correct Yelp page).

  3. Add your link and click "Update Link"

That's it! 🎉 Now you can use these powerful SEO tools to track your performance, analyse your competition, and start climbing the local search rankings.
