If you want to display posts from an Instagram account that doesn’t belong to you, you can still do this - as long as the account is a public Business or Creator account.
You do not need the login credentials of that Instagram account.
Below is the step-by-step process.
Important Requirement (One-Time Setup)
Before adding public Instagram accounts by username, you must:
✔ Connect a Facebook account
✔ That Facebook account must manage a Facebook Page
✔ That Page must be connected to at least one Instagram Business account
This step activates Meta’s API permissions and allows the system to fetch public business accounts by username.
You do not need to own the Instagram account you want to display.
Step 1: Connect Your Facebook Account
Go to Sources
Click Add new source
Choose Instagram
Click Connect with Facebook
Log in to your Facebook account
Once connected, you're ready to add public Instagram accounts.
Step 2: Add a Public Business Instagram Account by Username
Go to Sources
Click Add new source
Choose Instagram
Select 'Manually enter username.'
Type the public username
Example: @embedsocialClick 'Connect source.'
That’s it.
You can repeat this step to add multiple public business accounts.
