In this article, we will cover the possibility of collecting reviews by sending SMS to your customers.
You can do this manually by sending the SMS via your mobile device or by using a software tool that you can send these SMS messages through and have the chance to automatically store the submitted reviews in a web-based application.
Collect reviews automatically by SMS with EmbedReviews
Here are the steps to collect reviews via SMS with the EmbedReviews platform:
1. Go to 'Email&SMS' on the left-hand side menu and click on 'Request Review' to ask for a review from your customers:
2. Select 'SMS Requests':
2. In the SMS edit form, submit the name of the customer and their phone number but please make sure to have written the area code before the number with a '+' sign in the beginning and click 'Send request' in the top right corner:
Note: Before you do that, you can also customize the SMS message, and write your own SMS template by clicking the 'Edit' button on the right side of "Template review".
The message must be GSM-7 compatible and up to 140 characters long after the link conversion. Every new line counts as 4 characters

Once the customers receive the request, they will only need to click the provided link and submit the review. For example, you can add a link from your Collect form as well:

Once you collect the review, you will be able to view it in the All Reviews section, and also you can use this review and showcase it on your website.
