A Notion widget is any live content block you add to a Notion page through its embed block. Notion accepts a public link rather than JavaScript, so an EmbedSocial widget goes in as a URL: build the widget, copy its URL from the Embed tab, type /embed on your Notion page, and paste. How do I add a widget to a Notion page?
Build your widget in EmbedSocial, open its Embed tab, click Help to embed code and choose URL, then copy that link. In Notion, press / on the page, type Embed, paste the link into the Embed link field and confirm. The widget renders in the block straight away.
Does EmbedSocial work with Notion?
Yes. A Notion embed block accepts a public link, and every EmbedSocial widget has one, so no plugin or script is involved. The step-by-step version with screenshots is in our Notion embed guide.
Why can I not paste the JavaScript embed code into Notion?
Notion does not run custom JavaScript on a page, which is why script-based embeds fail there. That is what the URL option exists for: the same widget, addressed as a link instead of a script, which is the format a Notion embed block expects.
Does the widget update by itself inside Notion?
Yes. The block shows whatever the widget is currently serving, so new posts and reviews appear without anyone editing the Notion page. Google reviews sync every 15 minutes; other sources follow the auto-sync interval on your plan.
Does it work on a published Notion site, not just a private page?
Yes. The same embed block works on a Notion page, in a team wiki, and on a Notion site published to the web, because the widget is served from its own URL in all three cases.
Which widgets can I embed in Notion?

Yes. A Notion embed block is resized by dragging its edges, the same as any other block, and the widget reflows to the width you set.
