Export widget engagement metrics into Google Sheets

What does it do?

Connect EmbedSocial with Claude or ChatGPT and Google Drive to create an agent that exports widget-level engagement metrics: post clicks, icon clicks, lightbox opens, and CTA clicks, into a spreadsheet. Instead of checking each widget's dashboard individually, the agent pulls the numbers for the period you specify and logs them in one place your team can filter and compare.

How to export widget engagement metrics into Google Sheets

1. Create your EmbedSocial account. Sign up for a free EmbedSocial trial to connect your widgets and turn on the MCP.
2. Confirm your widgets are live. Make sure the widgets you want metrics for are published and collecting data.
3. Connect Google Drive in your AI tool. Make sure your AI environment can create or update a spreadsheet.
4. Set up the EmbedSocial MCP in Claude or ChatGPT. Paste the MCP URL into your AI tool and authorize access with your EmbedSocial account.
5. Run the prompt. Ask your AI tool to pull the engagement metrics and export them into Google Sheets.
