A Squarespace testimonial slider is a widget that displays customer reviews as cards that move through one section of a Squarespace page. Each card shows the quote, the reviewer and a star rating.
Use it when you have more SaaS testimonials than you want to stack on a page. One slider holds many reviews in the space of a single block, and visitors browse at their own pace.
Reviews come from your connected Google Business reviews, or from customer quotes you add by hand. If you prefer one large review per slide, try the testimonial slider template instead.
- Homepage: below the hero, so new visitors see proof before they scroll away.

How to add a Squarespace testimonial slider to your website
- Connect your Google Business reviews in EmbedSocial.

- Customize the heading, rating summary, review cards, and
Leave a reviewCTA. - Set how many testimonial cards should appear at once and how the slider should rotate.
- Copy the embed code.
- Paste it into your website, landing page, or CMS and publish.
Squarespace 7.1
- In EmbedSocial, open your widget, go to the Embed tab and click Copy code.
- In Squarespace, open the page where the slider should appear and click Edit.
- Click Add block (add a blank section first if needed) and choose Code.
- Paste the embed code into the Code block and click outside it to apply.
- Click Save, then check the live page on desktop and mobile.

Squarespace 7.0
The embed code is the same. In 7.0 you add the Code block by clicking an insert point inside a content area, since 7.0 does not use the 7.1 section editor.
