Connect the InvisibleAPI MCP to Claude and publish a ready image post to an Instagram professional account from one prompt. Claude picks the account, sends the image and caption through Instagram's official API, then checks the publish job and tells you when the post is live or why it failed.

How to post to Instagram from Claude with InvisibleAPI
- Create your InvisibleAPI account. Sign up for InvisibleAPI and create the organization that will own your social accounts. It comes with a 7-day free trial.
- Connect your Instagram and X accounts. Connect the Instagram professional accounts (Business or Creator) and X accounts you want Claude to work with.
- Add the InvisibleAPI MCP to Claude. In Claude, open Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste https://api.invisibleapi.ai/mcp. Approve access for one organization; there is no API key to copy.
- Run the prompt. Paste the prompt below into Claude and let it run on the accounts you connected.
Note: Depending on the connectors you are using, you may be prompted to authenticate your platform connections by logging into your accounts.
Real-world use case
Imagine your launch image and its approved caption are ready, and you would rather not open three apps to post them. You ask Claude:
Using the InvisibleAPI MCP, publish this image to our Instagram account [account name] with the caption below. Image: [public JPEG link]. Caption: [caption]. Then check the publish job and tell me when it is live, or what went wrong.
Claude finds the connected account, creates the publish job and follows it until Instagram confirms. If the image link does not load, you hear about it in the chat instead of finding out later. The image needs to be a public JPEG link, which is how Instagram's API takes media.
